ChutneyLove
I am a right special. I wait 25 years to see The Stone Roses. Go and see them last night for the first time, but get mangled and can't even remember it. 1 Link to comment

Ke1t
It's the Rock n Roll way. I can remember about 5% of the concerts I've attended. But I agree, you are a fud! Link to comment

Sonoftherock
Sure am. Was it good? And 'pipes - you can wrap it fudmeister. Was excellent mate! There were more than a few shapes wandering round the arena last night... this was a photo we got last night just before the Roses went on stage: Wasn't you was it? I was never a particularly massive Stone Roses fans, however I thought that it was a brilliant show. Squires 7 or 8 minutes guitar solo at the end of fools gold was the highlight! Ian Brown sounded absolutely terrible, however the guy is just an absolute superstar and had an unbelievable presence on the stage. It was just a really amazing atmosphere last night. There are loads of British expats, of a certain age group, living in that part of Perth and they were out in their droves last night! Quite of lot of people who probably thought they'd never get the chance to see the Stone Roses live. Did you get across to the Prodigy afterwards? Link to comment
minijc
Take it Brown done his rap during Love Spreads? Absolute quality that part of the show. 1 Link to comment

Poodler
I went to Heaton park Fri and Sunday last year. Had a wild one Saturday night then carried on through Sunday. My pal was so steaming by the time the Roses came on he had pissed himself. Some random saw the state of him, gave him a couple of lines and he was buzzing again. He has no recollection either though haha Link to comment

Drink, drugs, 30C+ temps, sunburn and 30-something Brits do not mix! Link to comment

Quite of lot of people who probably thought they'd never get the chance to see the Stone Roses live. Did you get across to the Prodigy afterwards? No, not me - I was one of the few people there yesterday with jeans on - can't do the Aussie shorts and flip-flops thing, surely that is indoor wear?! Can't remember if I made it to the Prodigy. Seemingly I abandoned my pregnant wife early doors and didn't traipse in until half one in the morning. I am the least popular person on the planet at the moment. All because of queues for drink and my Aberdonian logic that I should be buying three at a time. Phone wasn't working, so never got messages about meeting points etc. Was wondering around aimlessly for a while I think! Going to have to see them again before Ian Brown and John Squire have another tiff. Link to comment
daytripping
Going to see them in London in June, can't wait. Hate the word "fud", minker weegie word for me, have never said it and never would. Maybe I'm just too posh for you lot. I suspect not though. When fatshaft calls me a fud I don't care about the insult, I just think what a weegie brain dead minker thing to say, it makes me cringe. A word used by the dumb neanderthals amongst us, I expected better from you Chutney. Link to comment

Unfortunately I'm a mere mortal and can't control these things. Might have to get a ticket for Londonium in June. Link to comment

If you get a ticket for the Friday give me a PM and we can meet up for a load of beers and a few lines. We can see them the next time they play when we forget we were ever there. Link to comment
