Zombie Dunfermline

Recommended Posts

It seems Dunfermline are about to, in one of my all time favourite phrases, 'go to the wall'.

Leaving a huge debt behind them of course.

Now, my question is, given the zombie huns were given huge rule bending advantages to come back from their brief termination, will the same privileges be extended to these Fife minker no-marks?

I won't be holding my breath for the media campaign anyway.

No, Tup, you can be rest assured that there'll be no reprieve for Dunfermline. Fully expect Doncaster and Regan to bury their huge heids in the sand over this one, after all , the SFA/SPL don't "bend" rules for anyone but the "gruesome twosome".

I actually feel for Dunfermline.

Ok, they've overspent but along with Livingston, Falkirk, Dundee etc they were forced to build these daft sized stadiums that the powers that be forced them to build for one reason and one reason only: to fill it with bastarding huns and tims whenever they visit.

Hope they survive tbh.

I really don't. I remember them spending way over the odds to sign players we couldn't afford. No sympathy for their madnees

Admittedly a couple of years since I last saw Leishman, but Christ, I would never have recognised the guy.

Classic Leishman

Aye, he'a a bit village idiot, but his heart is in the right place.

If you have listened to any of his interviews about the Dunfermline situation, he sounds genuinely upset

Dunfermline Athletic have announced that 8 first-team players and 3 youth-team players have been made redundant in a bid to save the club from liquidation. Captain Jordan McMillan (pictured) is one of the first team players to be axed.[/size]

Joe Cradle was a very good wingers, & worth a look.

Seem to remember that the Dons were reported sniffing about him in the past.

He could be the rock in midfield we're looking for.

He's no better than Langfield.

Agreed. Having played these last few years for Dunfermline is testimony to that

I'm not sure Dunfermline have any players that would interest us.

Jordan McMillan is a decent player, but right back is not a priority as Shaughnessy & Jack cover that well.

Cardle also gets a mention - I'd hope Derek McInnes is looking at better players than that.

The two of them would get a game at a few SPL clubs though.

Slightly off at a tangent, but noticed Murray Davidson of St Johnstone has been linked...he'd be a decent signing as replacement for one of the departing centre mids.

Think he'll end up at the Bastard Garden though, or someone in League One such as MK Dons or whoever.
