I am absolutely disgusted by the fact that some of our fans are already against McInnes just because he used to play for Rangers. Well so did our god Sir Alex Ferguson, so cut the guy some slack and let's all get behind him and the team.

Couple of points - I don't think Butcher is a hun - he's a committed footballer who is a born winner and certainly hates losing. He as has been seen enjoys beating the real huns and is disliked by them for that and other comments. I accept as ever others have different viewpoints. Secondly our new manager is a million miles away from King - there is a King at Pittodrie -his name is Joey Harper - he scored 205 goals for us (at the latest count) Mcinnes has done diddly squat to earn that honorific.

 

I'll consider it after the third trophy.

As far as I am concerned if you have played for the Huns you are a Hun so none of this choosing and picking crap of who is and who isn't a Hun they are all fucking Huns. And that includes Fergie by the way. He grew up supporting them and he HAS praised them so how people can say he is not a Hun puzzles me. And I will bet he would also agree with Mcinnes thoughts on the sevco.

I don't think it is merited for one trophy - I don't talk about King Roy or King Alex for example. If you want him to be your personal king feel free - just don't expect your average Aberdeen fan to be putting him on a pedestal without doing something special.

 

Not even sure I'd give him that honorific after 3 truth be told - but I'd consider it. Not going to spend much time worrying about it though as I don't have high expectations.
