Fran Sandaza Sacked - Would You Take Him?

Nope, he'd be off at the first better offer.

That's fine.... We get money if he's contracted.

Fair point. Just worried he'd simply be another wage thief in the Mulgrew/Diamond mode

You could be right.

I was just putting it out there as a possibility.

If we got the Sandaza of St Johnstone, he'd be a good player.

Not so if we got the Sandaza at the Bastard Garden

And of course under McInnes again.

I think that's pretty harsh on Sandaza. It's obvious that The Rangers felt he wasn't the player they thought they had signed and wanted a way out of his £4500 a week contract (rising to £5500 next year).

I would take him actually if he's clear of injury but the max I think he's worth is £2500/wk. Would love to know what he was making at St Johnstone - seems he got a huge payrise by joining The Rangers. More fool them. In 2 years his contract was due to rise to £10k/wk. Clearly the scum have learned very little about managing their finances!

Not a fan of signing Huns, but he never really kicked a ball for em so it's ok :)

As others have said, if his attitude was right, he'd be a great signing, but if it was like he was at the Huns it would be disastrous, so a bit risky.

No.

A mercenary and we need players that want to be here.

Fuck him and his huge beak.

KSL, The thing is, all he said was what we know of 95% of any people in any job.

If you get offered good money you'd be prepared to move job.

Wouldn't you?

Footballers are generally mercenary....in other news, water is wet.

big can of worms opened here by Green - be really interesting how it plays out - like levein I doubt he will be itching for employment as to me it looks like an unfair dismissal case will be winging its way to The Rangers FC in the very near future - and somehow doubt that they will be able to pin the bill on the old club.

I mean ffs I get I don't know how many call from agents every month (at work even) discussing wages and moves! as probably do quite a few on this site. I dare say half our squad have feelers put out for if the are up for a move what they earn and so forth! Depends on the contract but somehow I doubt discussing terms with a future potential employer ( that's what he thought) would be in it and stand up to most scrutiny

Mind you in his short time Green has shown that he doesn't care much for employment law with his version of TUPE

I even wonder if we will have to wait until midnight to hear from Fraser Wishart supporting the player and saying how it cant be done we should have a sweeper on its first appearance n the BBC site - I go for

1015PM to catch the evening bullitins

Part of me thinks exactly that but I'd guess he was the same when playing for St Johnston and wasn't too bad. Not likely to happen at all so who cares. If he came, ripped the huns for compo and scored a load of goals for us. Hey ho happy days. Imagine the day he signs "Just glad my 'the rangers 2012' nightmare is over and I've signed for a club playing at a higher standard with a real history."

Can't believe they even suspended him, never mind sacking him. You'd think he'd have a strong case for unfair dismissal, along with the others that have been suddenly getting the boot from Ibrox over the last few weeks. Looks to me as if the huns have cashflow probs and, though they'll have to pay up the contracts if they're sued and lose, they might be banking on stringing it out til more season ticket money comes in.

No chance, only in it for the money. We need players with the correct attitude. McInnes needs to bin Fallon and replace him with someone competent, and also play Vernon in his proper position

You could say that about 95% of footballers Mouse.

Players who genuinely give a toss about the club they play for are rare.

And Vernon has been played in his position plenty of times this season - and generally done the square root of fuck all.

Fallon & Megginson released frees up about £1600-£1700 per week? We can get a good standard SPL striker for that, as there's no way the likes of McKay, Heffernan, Higdon etc will be anything like that at their clubs.

Whether Sandaza is that striker is debatable.

So they find out he's mercenary due to a prank call....... Did they think the cunt was there because he wanted to be part if the rangers revolution?

Fucking retard huns

Oh and I don't want the cunt here

the rangers are completely deluded if they think any of the players they signed are at the club for any reason other than financial. The prank call goes to show that they're having to pay over the odds and more than what any other club would be prepared to pay to attract these players which further proves that the players are only going there for financial reasons.
