Stoneybloke
The first game with McInnes as manager won't be until the 22nd at Hibs. It's on a Monday night, and on SKY. Perhaps after the long wait the build up of expectancy will reach fever pitch. The season seems to interspersed with lots of vacant weekends nowadays, with the Internationals, winter breaks and odd gaps for various other things. I think the lack of continuity leads to a loss of interest, and supporters can gradually drift away. In the "old days" you could almost guarantee a home game every other Saturday and a reserve game in between if you felt like it. Who knows, maybe they are right and it's better to have these gaps, but I can't see what the benefits are. Link to comment
