Guest
I think speaking about the Dons is always on topic. Certainly beats listening to some torn faced mannie banging on about his precious seat and his view and all that pish as if that part of the stadium actually belongs to him because he's sat in it a few more times than anyone else. Snelders is in the same boat as David Robertson and Stephen Wright. Your opinion counts for very little on this forum. Be on your way. BTW, see the subject of the threads - that's generally a good indication on what you need to be discussing yeah. Link to comment

If making shit up is more important than closure of a section of the stadium (for the first time in it's history I imagine) then crack on man. Link to comment

fifered
3 consecutive full houses against Hearts and the OF not that long ago proves that there is a support base. Instead of thinking the worst, where's the ambition to fill the place again? What the fuck does it cost anyway? I couple of extra cleaners for a couple of hours and some stewards? Closing stands that don't actually cost hardly anything to remain open is the policy of a club that has shit at its core. Stewrat is to blame for everything. It's true. He's the cunt in charge. Although we're the cunts that keep him there.Absolutely on the money. This is a decision that smacks of the fact that we are now a wee club or at least that's the position we have been driven towards by the incompetent fool that has been in charge for 20 odd years. I find it a little ironic that the club are looking to improve the match day experience by closing half of the most modern part of the stadium forcing folk into the shit hole stands that are the main and south stands. Highly unlikely I would have been renewing my ST anyway so makes little difference to me really. Just reinforces the lack of ambition and poor management at the heart of the club. 1 Link to comment

Bamber
Personally i think its half a job - If we are looking at a reorganisation I would Close the top deck of the RDSPut away fans in the beach end third of the Main Standopen up the whole SS to home support Two Three things The south stand linesman hasnt got any away support at its backOur players see our support in front of them as they are coming out the tunnel and not there ownI can leave via the beach end of the south stand and so have a shorter walk homeIf celtic or heaven forbid the other cheek of the arse comes - split their support 1/2 in the main stand and 1/2 in the end section of the South stand - no reason why not we are here to pander to them make them be split up (oh and they are both in equivalent areas and the mainer if the most expensive seat so we get more money as we could charge that 1/3rd of the SS the equivalent of the opposite Mainstand Link to comment
MURRA
lack of ambition for closing rds upper? no, will create better atmosphere which will be pitch level. and if the crowd ever gets close to capacity the rds upper can be opened if its needed. saves all the fans be spread out needlessly. could in fact, by dong this, increase attendances (long term) Link to comment
Bluto10
No its not lack of ambition closing the RDS its a lack of ambition not filling it. Prevention is better than cure 1 Link to comment

Great idea, that'll encourage more people through the turnstiles. We're a shite club, with no ambition, being run slowly into the ground by a moron, this is just the latest shite decision. Liam
crazy that, especially with all our 20,000+ crowds, imagine closing part of the stadium. What on earth are we going to do, theres no way we can go to games now, we only have another 10,000 empty seats to choose from. Oh the shame Link to comment
Ke1t
It's an ironic symbol of the decline of Aberdeen Football Club when you consider the guy who built the RDS is the guy responsible for the decline that closed the RDS. 1 Link to comment
Redstar
You were obviously too young to remember Snelders behaviour at the time. But I bet you casitgated Jamie Langfield for exactly the same stance when a whiff of a move to the hun came his way.He was never the same after being blootered in the coupon by that filthy hun cu*t McCoist...Langfield on the other hand tried to manufacture a move to the filth well before his napper went bad...which means he's a far more verminous character than Theo ever was. He at least had the intelligence to have each club play itself twice a year, home and away (which is home of course), thereby making extra money. 16 teams and 32 games? King Street Loon
I'm indifferent to this.Only received my letter today notifying that I'm being evicted from my seat up high.I liked it up there and don't like the view from the bottom deck.If I renew, and that's a big if I may look to the main as the SS is a dump.I can see what the club is trying to do, but its an admission from them that we're small fry now and they're not prepared to go the extra mile to improve the show on the park. Isn't that where that bunch of wankers that no one liked sat? If so, they might end up sat one row behind you. EnjoyHa ha, I hope whoever ends up with this retarded crew enjoys their unique banter which they bring to the club. They're a special bunch. The shaved ape especially.Good luck. Link to comment
