Pubs Showing Our Game Tomorrow?

Recommended Posts

Monkey House saying they will have Aberdeen game on couple of screens tonight but Man Utd game the main game being shown and with sound.

And they also handing out wristbands which give you free pint to celebrate if Man Utd win league tonight.

have they got over their sulk from the Nani a few weeks back.

I'd say that particular bar deserves to be the subject of a vigilante campaign from Dons fans to disrupt their business.

I know someone who did a week's work there recently, as some sort of work experience thing.

He supports Celtic, the folk running the bar were busy telling him that nobody in the North East supports the Dons anymore, and that there are more Celtic and sevco fans in the city than Dons fans.

I telt him away and shite with that nonsense, I could direct him to a few places where he'd get a burst mooth for chat like that.

good enough for me, should be full of fellow reds as well, united united....

Jesus min, cool the beans, you do realise you are under review and due for a hearing 03/05/13 don't you?

My old man said be a City fan

And I said bollocks your a cunt

Id rather shag a bucket with a big hole in it

Than be a City fan for just one minute !

With hatchets and hammers

Stanley knives and spanners

We'll show those City bastards how to fight.

Really, really hard decision which game to watch tonight.

An absolute nothing of a game in a SPL bottom six post split match, where neither team, due to the fact that they are both mediorce at best, has anything at all left to play for this season;

or

An EPL game where one team is trying desperately to win the league title back from their city rivals against a fairly large team scrambling to stay in the league.

I'm sorry, but this type of SPL game is exactly why there must be league reconstruction. It's verging on pointless.

And before anyone says that each place is in league is worth £xx,xxx more, that hasn't motivated the players in the last few seasons as they've slumped to 9th. Top six, bottom six split is laughable.

calling their fellow Aberdonians 'scouse bastards'

This is the part that I find most strange! I don't mind folk supporting EPL teams... I'm a big fan of the EPL myself and I see the attraction. However, they're supporting the brand/franchise - they do not have any link with the city/town itself. it's quite bizarre when you have Aberdonians referring to each other as scousers or mancs. Its cringeworthy.

The only English team worth supporting is Sheffield United.

Supporting anyone else is just downright odd.

Shut the fuck up.

Youre everywhere and nowhere baby!

or the choice is

watching the celebrity league and a team you have no connection with playing for their umpteenth championship

or

watching the team you have supported all of your life

Yup. Can't see what's so fucking hard about it?

I see Saturday in Guffland it's Southampton V West brom, Stoke v Norwich, and Newcastle v Liverpool. Sunday has Reading v QPR. I'm sorry, but this type of GPL game is exactly why there must be league reconstruction. It's verging on pointless.

It shouldn't be a hard decision at all. It's our first game with our new manager taking charge. If your an Aberdeen fan and cant muster up any sort of excitement or take any sort of interest in that then you'd be aswell give up

I'll go with renewed optimism at the start of next season when there is something worth playing for.

these last 5 games are nothing more than friendlies, and certainly nothing worth getting excited about.

I agree, as tempting as the man utd game is this is the new managers first game, will be interesting to see how we line up, will give it at least the first half, hope we see an attacking game since nothing is at stake.

Tell him we should all watch Aberdeen because....well, we're from Aberdeen.

That was lost on him. He didn't seem to get the point.

Add another Dons/United fan to that list,

Only a few jobs to do tonight but il make sure it's during the fitba dons or nothing at all unfortunately.
