1st half just like a typical boring Dons performance other than a great McGinn goal.

 

2nd half, completely different team. Started creating chances but yet again wasteful in front of goal.

Thought the lad Storie looked completely lost tbh. Strange playing him ahead of Smith.

 

Killie were composed on the ball, but i thought our defence was comfortable all day and restricted them to very little.

 

Some good positives to take into next weeks game and i also think McInnes has seen enough of Vernon and Magennis to know they've no future at the club too

Aye the game seemed to pass young storie by. When he did get the ball he kept it simple and looked ok. Think nerves got the better of him.

 

I thought robertson had one of his better games aswell and Shaughnessy was solid.

 

Magennis was his usual shiteness

As much as McInnes isn't my favoured choice I can see what he's trying to do and why he's trying to do it.

Granted hrs probably seen a lot if the team play on tv, but he's GOT to give everyone of fair crack the whip so he can see and judge it for himself on match days.

Hopefully he'll see through the shite like Langfield, Hughes, Magennis, Vernon, Fallon etc, but he's got to give them a chance.

If they fail to impress, then ship them out pronto.

He'll see what we see. But Langfield will escape the cull unfortunately, as will Hughes.

Langfield & Hughes are contracted, so like you say, they'll survive.

And if Langfield keeps keeping clean sheets, it makes it harder to see McInnes replacing him.

All of the out of contract ones can go in my opinion.

Release the 7, sign 5 on the freed up wages (in theory we should be able to improve the quality if 5 are coming on the wages of 7) and promote a couple of younger boys to supplement the squad.
