What Won't You Do If Your Spouse Asks

sweet jeezus, just shoot me now. :suicide:

i will never, ever, ever wear matching clothing with any partner. never have. never will.

Donald and Nancy Featherstone, of Fitchburg, Mass., are indeed wearing matching outfits in every one of these photos, and have been for the past 35 years. It all started when they began dating and Nancy convinced Donald to loosen up. “When I met Donald, he had been raised very formally,” Nancy, 60, told ABCNews.com. “He always wore a suit and tie.” One brutally hot weekend, Nancy suggested he take his tie off and she’d make him a short-sleeved shirt to wear instead. Over the years, Nancy started making more clothes for Donald, and with the leftover fabric, she’d make matching outfits for herself as well. Now, everything down to their pajamas matches, and it’s been that way since Easter of 1978. “We have an eight room house with only the two of us in it, and all of the closets are full,” Nancy joked. (Fun fact: Donald Featherstone, 77, is also well-known for creating the original pink lawn flamingo in 1957).

This happened once to us in Spain. Mrs Byen, being a typical woman, changed about 3 times afore we went out, by which time eh was sat in the car fucked off. The weather wasn't up to much, so eh had on a jaikit, and so did Mrs Byen when she came out of the holiday house. We headed off to the Indian in town, took off our coats and realised that we were wearing outfits that easily could have passed as male and female versions of the same thing. This did not go unnoticed by the other diners or Rajiv the waiter who commented on it.

Mrs Byen was mortified, and apparently it was my fault.

I won't be letting my kid go to a temple, mosque, church or heavily armed cult compound, that's for fucking sure, regardless of what the wife or her family want.

I'm pretty easy going, usually letting the wife have her own way with things, but this is something there's no room for negotiating.

It's a no.

What if you and your partner go to a match and are both wearing jeans and a Dons top.......is this allowed? (not that my wife has ever wore a football top....or went to more than 2 games in her life.)

hmm.. that is a tricky one. :itch-chin: and probably allowable in my estimation if there's a jacket to cover up. still, i'd probably not wear the top in favour of a scarf or something else.
