Hearts Game Price Cut

Recommended Posts

Think it would have needed something like this for a good crowd. Hopefully a nice day to go along with it.

Does make a bit of a mockery of the savings they advertise along with their season tickets though. The 3 home games I've missed, plus this one effectively means I'd have paid the same at the gate every week.

Just noticed on the Club website that you need to get your £5 tickets in advance, you can't just show up at the turnstile on the day and hand over a fiver.

Is that not a bit stupid?

Can see a few angry Dandies showing up, fiver in hand, only to be told they have to pay full whack.

Edit: I suppose a short walk round to the ticket office can solve that, if they show up early enough, however I'm not sure why they don't just put cash gates on for this offer as well.

Ludicrous, but no doubt designed to make extra cash out of those who turn up at the last min & just want in.

Is it same criteria for Jambos?

Yes.

These deals always seem great on the face of it til you read the small print. Shooting themselves in the foot.

Hearts are cash gates and its a £5. I very much doubt that it will be full whack it will be £5 but they will encourge people to turn up with tickets

Fucking booo.

Once again, us hard working, honest paying, Season Ticket holders get shafted.

I shan't be renewing next season.

(As an aside, not having PATG for this offer is fucking stupid, particularly after closing the club ship in town)

How are we getting shafted? We have our perks for buying season tickets. £144 saving over the course of the season and a 10% saving on each purchase at the club shop?

As a season ticket holder, I couldn't give a shit about "being shafted" any initiative to try and encourage fans along is fine by me, I don't really buy the ST to save money, its about habit, helping the club and guaranteeing tickets for big games(not that this is so necessary nowadays).

Indeed. AFC website:

Ticket Prices are as follows:

On match day, cash turnstiles will be open in all stands from 2:00 pm. As always we recommend purchasing in advance to secure the best seat(s) and minimise queueing on match day.

Hearts have this in their website

Aberdeen V Hearts

Entry will be via a cash turnstile with admission priced as follows

Adults £5

O60 U18 Students £5

U12s £1

So I take it that it will be a fiver pay at the gate for everyone

I'm sure you can't charge different prices for two sets of fans.

As much as I'd like to let us in for hee haw and charge the Dhims £100, we can't
