In what sense. Do you mean both black socks for example but one of them has faded a bit in the wash?

it matters. in the sense of matching colour. and in the sense of matching wear. i cannot abide mismatched socks. ick.

it's as bad as mismatched underwear on a woman. possibly worse though, since it's more visible,

 

mind you, if it's your missus that's annoyed by it and you aren't, i'd suggest she deal with all the laundry. she can match the socks as she pleases then.

I do feel that the female needs to take more care after washing and drying them and

ensures she has paired them up properly.

Shops are making it easier by doing colour co-ordinating heels so there's really no excuse now.

I bought about 30 odd pairs of identical socks off ebay then ditched the rest to prevent such issues. Otherwise yeah tend to wear the same.

Once I sobered up today I went fucking wild and put a white sock on in addition to the black sock I failed to whip off last before hopping into bed with the mrs. :-) wife went mental when she noticed, but I just telt her to gie it a rest. i can't recollect an occasion i haven't in my adult life, but there may have been. so i'd say 99.9% of the time i have, yes. if it came to wearing mismatched, it would annoy me so much to know i was doing that, i'd rather go commando.

I only own black. I hate navy as a clothing colour and I don't really need white socks.
