The photographic evidence that has been posted up on my FB can confirm I had a buzzing time.

 

I slowed down on the sauce towards the end of the day, but I still had a hooring heedache yesterday. It was a superb day oot, yer loon is a sound gadgie also. Was good seeing you again for a good yap pal.

I liked the one with you with the traffic cone on your head in front of the cop car

The company was what made the day.

Went to a pub on Market Street when we got off train and two blokes snoggin kinda

meant it was drink up and get out. Then to Old Blackfriars and finished off with a few at pittodrie bar.

Pity Huntly weren't in spl, it's a decent trip.

Was a brilliant weekend, weather was amazing, which makes a massive difference, compared to the shite we got last year.

 

Enjoyed all the bands I seen, Calvin Harris, Beady Eye, Foals and the Killers being particular highlights. Fav moment overall though was when Liam launched into Rock n Roll star during the set, didn't know they would play any Oasis, so I was going mental

 

Still feeling pretty dodgy today and back to work tomorrow Still all worth it though for the brilliant time we had.

Yeah, Beady Eye played a few Oasis tracks at the Stone Roses Heaton Park gig last year. Also Noel Gallagher played some at TITP last year.

Yeah seen a couple of Noel G gigs and knew he did Oasis stuff, but didn't think Liam would want to cos Noel wrote them!

 

Was awesome anyway, like their own stuff too, but always nostalgic for some Oasis!

I watched the Beady Eye highlights and it looked to me like Liam was totally pissed off. Vocals were awful too on the songs I saw. Can imagine it was a massive bounce when they played Rock n Roll Star and Morning Glory though.

Tbh, I never actually pay much attention to the actual quality of a gig at T, a) I'm always steaming so don't really notice poor vocals or whatever and b) the atmosphere usually takes over and provided the crowd are up for it, it's an enjoyable experience. But yeah, watching back on TV I'm sure would seem pretty different in the sober, cold light of day, but was some fucking bounce being there.

Agreed, Four Letter Word sounded absolutely awful on the highlights

poor old liam. he must feel like john squire did with the seahorses, the crowd at the barrowlands didn't really care less about his new stuff, but fools gold and a couple of others spurred every one to life. it must be embarrassing for the rest of the band, your stuff is pish!
