Regarding his international career; reading between the lines I think something must have went down during his first spell playing for Scotland, that hasn't been made public. All those chinese whispers and stories that were emerging about him freaking out with nerves before playing for Scotland don't really add up.

IMO he's a bit overrated by Aberdeen fans, but he's certainly no worse than many of the other fullbacks that've been called up over the years.
