Jocky Balboa
ThanksIf ever there was someone who has overstayed their welcome at AFC as much as Stewrat Milne, it was Clangers the fud. In an ideal situation, this joker would have been binned in 2008, but no... McInnes, this is the first true test of your leadership. Bin this fud NOW! 1 1 Link to comment
Stoneybloke
Not entirely his fault. What else should he have done? Did you see it? 1 Link to comment

MightyDons
Stay big and don't go down. Was never going to get there. Letting them score would have been better, although not convinced Samaras was getting to the ball. Link to comment
Stoneybloke
No need to bring player down, inept decision makingSo he should have just let Samaras get past him and score anyway. Would he have escaped any criticism then? Link to comment
CraigHill
9 out of 10 goalkeepers would have done exactly the same. Link to comment

Tommy
Well he decided to dive in and suffered the consequences.I think he made the wrong decision coz Samaras maybe would have scored but we'd still have had 11 men, or he could have missed. It's now up to McInnes to decide what's for the best after the Hearts game. Bamber
After seeing Weaver - if he wants to make a decision after the hearts game I suggest he sees if Craig Gordon fancies a gig Not good positioning nor kicking and looked a complete cluster at times A tale of two goalies perhaps in this match and neither of them got good marks (mind you I do think both got better marks than Anderson) Link to comment

madjockmcferson
Just shows how dumb professional players can be. Instead of taking him down and getting sent off he would have been better stepping aside and letting him score. At least then we would have had 11 men on the pitch and a chance of getting back into it. I have no patience for this sort of fuckwittery. Anyways, results against the tic will be mostly irrelevant to where we finish this season. Link to comment
palmer-eldritch
Not a langfield hater but I've now lost faith in him. At worst they would have scored and we would have had 11 men. Yes, other keepers would have done similar but this for me is the final nail in the coffin. Weaver didn't look that bad to me? I'm ready to be corrected. Link to comment

Weaver looks absolutely fine to me, seems to have a better command of the area than Clangfield. 1 Link to comment
Ke1t
Bite the bullet, pay for a REAL keeper, and we might finish this season in the Euro spots. It's kind of an important position, Aberdeen. Having said that, we've just been beaten by the team who will win this league at a canter, simply because they can afford to pack their team with mediocre international players, whereas the rest of the league has to scrape around for third rate freebies. 2 Link to comment

Sorry but weaver looked awful Langfield was between a rock and a hard place whatever he did really if he hadn't gone down then he would have been questioned as to why he didn't bother why did he just let him score. There would have been no consideration of the fact that we kept 11 on the park. Being honest here Anderson could have had a red card as well - and we wouldn't have missed him! But am sorry anyone who thinks weaver is the answer to our problems is deluding themselves - was awful 1 1 Link to comment
lazio_don
Well past his sell by date at the club along with Anderson, no surprise at all that they messed up tbh. Andersons legs are gone and Langfield has always been a disaster waiting to happen. Link to comment
Stoneybloke
think thats the key point here anderson caused the problem to begin withSad to say it, but this looks like it could be Anderson's last season. I wouldn't be surprised if he does a Hartley and retires. Hate to see him becoming a liability. Link to comment

palmer-eldritch
I don't think it's as black and white that langfield either did nothing or took the player down. Thought weaver made a couple of good saves, next week could give us all a clearer perspective. Link to comment

Bamber
Anderson is definitely passed his best - two of his key strengths were his tackling facing goal and his pace Neither are there and sadly it was the same last season as well as this, often the Langfield arguments have often clouded the number of occasions that Anderson was part of the build up to the problem. I am liking a back four of considine hector Reynolds shaunghessy to be honest. and think that could be our strongest at the moment Link to comment
