barassie_afc
any chance of good form, midfield weak as piss now Link to comment
Geoff_Tipps
Ah well, be as well stop going to the games. Hope none of the players share your mentality. Nicky Low is a more than capable replacement and whilst it a blow its not the end of the world. Link to comment
Redstar
Flood out for 6 weeks is disastrous...better add a versatile midfielder to the goalkeeper and striker required before the window shuts Derek. Link to comment
DonsDonsDons
Jeez, that's a long time. Any news on Hayes? Link to comment
barassie_afc
flood and robson, thats 2 key players I hope the youngsters can step up Link to comment
Huntlysheep
Robson will be back after international break to run midfield. If no get in an old head on a free. Link to comment
Ke1t
I may revise my prediction of 7th (9th) down to 8th (10th) in light of this. 1 1 Link to comment
johnstrac
What is it with us and injuries ? Time and again. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
To be fair. Even though our midfield has weakened considerably this season through the loss of Flood. Low is a decent enough replacement even though he's young & inexperienced & besides, our midfield is still considerably stronger because Hughes & Rae are no longer part of it.. A good loanee Striker would still be a very worthy (& important) addition & a keeper if we could find one but I think McInnes is going to stick with Clangers til out of contract but fingers crossed he sources a very good replacement for BOTH Weaver & Clangers in Jan when Weaver's contract is up. I hope McInnes is fishing about the Premiership for some free loans, or minimal wage percentage type. Link to comment
newcastlered
Low was class at the end of last season I thought flood was abit needless considering Low's end of season, while I was wrong and Flood has been class I think Low could do a very good job in the midfield Link to comment

Redstar
Sorry you find this tedious...Flood and Robson(both injured and I won't include Wylde who from what I saw in Huntly,is quick but delivery is poor) look to be the only good signing the hun has made...strangely both ex Tims....Zola looks shite as does Weaver...wake up Derek...a reliable keeper and a 20 a season striker are what are needed. Tommy
Really hope we can get at least one player in on loan. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Really hope we can get at least one player in on loan.This. If we hope for anything this season, we need to be as strong as possible & not wasting huge chances to pick up "easy" points like last week Link to comment
Sonoftherock
Agree with Newcastle... I really like the look of Low. I think he's got the makings of a very effective SPL-level player. Hope he gets a run while Flood is missing. Link to comment
tup
It did not take long for the McHun-eymoon period to dissipate. Much as I rate Low he is nowhere near as effective as Flood. This is a big hit to take at the start of the season, we could be in freefall by the time he recovers. Link to comment

Nae point in changing our habitual behaviour. This is what we're accustomed to.This is what we've grown comfortable with. I'd probably hae a heart attack if we were to win a trophy noo. oilcat
Low, Masson and Storie can all step up and I would think that Robson would be back after the International break for the Plastic Whistle game Im more concerned about the lack of full backs and if we were to bring in a player on loan then thats where it should be Link to comment
buchanskii
They might have to play Gary McDonald in the centre of the park. I'd have no worries playing Low against that muppet. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
A lt of sides in the SPFL still strengthening. & all quiet from us. Hope we're not done. Well, Hibs, Killie, St Mirren & St Johnstone are still trying to, or have just signed someone also.We are as desperate (if not more) as any of them for certain positions being in need of major strengthening. 1 Link to comment
muttonhumper
Big game today.Must ride it out for the 3 points. then wi' the 2 week break at least we'll have Robson and Jero Hayes fit for the Partick game. Link to comment
