Match Thread (International) Norway Vs Scotland

Just been announced for 19 November, taking place in either Bergen or Trondheim.

 

Only yesterday the Norwegian FA said they were lining up a "decent standard" opposition. Liars.

They decided to move the game out of Oslo as there is the cup final a few days later, and the attendances have been down around 5-6000 for internationals.

 

Moving it here or to Trondheim isn't going to help much. The opposition doesn't feature a single player your average Noggie has heard of.

Been to Norway twice before for away games, £11 for a pint of local brew (Rignes?) And £18 for a voddie and coke in the hard rock cafe. Safe to say will be giving this one a miss.

It's one of if not the best country in the world when it comes to fanny so the 11 pound pint is worth every penny.

 

Oh and if you're wet enough to drink in the Hard Rock Cafe you deserve to get fleeced. Pun not intended my woolly friend.

A classic decision by the Norwegian FA who went to the same competency classes as the SFA.

 

Bergen and Trondheim both said they didn't want it, but Stavanger lifted its skirt, hell it took it off, saying "we have connections to Scotland, we are an international city, look at us big boy"

 

Molde sat in the background tending to it's fish and livestock saying nothing.

In terms of the size of Norway it's the same staging an international at Pittodrie

I just went in as folk I knew were in there, I left after the vodka debacle. After that we stood in the street outside with a carry out.
