When going to the games i always went to all home and away games (club) but only home games (country)

distance had probably more to do with it though

Would i have the dons win the champions league or Scotland win the world cup (man that would be a close call)

voted country but by the smallest of margins

Think my attention to the national team, is now on a similar par to the players at Afc being overlooked time and again for the Scoland squad. I'm defo more pationate, when there's Dons in the squad. Think it's also the missing link of being back at a national tournament, always been a Dons contingent in the finals squads. Fingers crossed for the future as consistency can't go un noticed for long, although the worry of players getting injured, however players playing for pride with passion and to the highest level possible helps raise club performances.

Langfield, Reynolds, Jack, Considine all deserve the chance to prove themselves.

Dons players have been overlooked. There have been times over the last few years when Aberdeen have had the best players in their particular position in the Scottish set-up, yet get nowhere near the national side. Scott Severin played the best fitba of his career for The Dons but was overlooked time and again - Guff Championship players getting in ahead of him - and that clogger from the huns who used to be at Wigan, whatshisface waltzed into a starting position every time. Russell Anderson in the two seasons before he left to Sunderland was exceptional - got one or two caps in friendlies.

I don't see the surprise at someone mentioning Considine. If you offered me Considine or Whittaker for Aberdeen, I'd take Andy every time. And before you say Considine isn't a full-back - either the fuck is Whittaker. I'm talking about squad places. Who would you have in your squad: Greer and Whittaker, or Reynolds and Considine?

Don't disagree CL that's the managers fault though. Besides in my life, just, we've won leagues and in europe. Scotland mostly haven't even qualified for most things. Is hard to support a team of folk not from here, not playing here and in many cases shite though...

To those who say i have gave up on scotland because they are shit

Did you give up on the dons when they were shit

And to those who say i gave up on Scotland because of the bias on selecting guff/english lower league/old firm etc players before the dons players

Did they also give up on the dons because of the old firm /referee bias that has been on the go for years

This is a ludicrous statement.

Aberdeen have no control over old firm or referee bias. However, it was Scotland choice to select a load of lower league English no-marks for the Scottish national team.
