fine-n-dandy
Turning a spare room into a sports/dining room.Kind of in the middle of it now but it's all red walls & white ceiling, tacky maybe but it's mainly a sports memorabilia room come dinning room (because that's where the dining table & chairs are) & it will mostly consist of Aberdeen stuff & Horse racing stuff, along with other small odds & ends, including Fraserburgh fc stuff & wee mementos picked up on our travels at various other sporting events around the world. It will be chocka block with stuff but should not be too much as it's not supposed to be like a normal room (where too much stuff looks out of place) & it's not somewhere you'd spend a lot of time in. Got framed 83 cup winners cup final top & also a framed last home number 12 top signed to me from tosh. Not that spectacular I know but the Tosh top is kind of nostalgic given the number 12 is no longer a squad number & is dedicated to the fans & it's nice to have the last home top that was worn (he wore fucking big tops by the way)Also got a nice present from my sister & brother in law a couple of years ago (taken me a while to get around to this sports room ) which is a framed Aberdeen 1947 Scottish cup winning side. Really like it & surprisingly my brother in law bought it when he noticed it on display in the Hibs shop at their ground of all places. A fucking lot of red in there & so far it's looking really smart (to me & the Mrs at least) & that's where we'll be having our Christmas dinner with family. Looking forward to when I get it finished (although it will be added to over the years) & I'll maybe post up a few pictures on here when it's done. Hopefully I'll have a cup (or two) winning side to add to it come the end of this season. Been planning on doing it for a few years now but just never got around to it. Like I say, it's a bit tacky to some I suppose but it's not like it's our living room as it's just a spare & we love it. (so far) Edited for Kelt Link to comment

Bit of creative twisting there Boofon. You cut the sentence short & added a full stop. Not too much for the type of room it is intended but would be too much for a sitting/living room for example.
