First time I've seen the highlights - still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Jamie Smiths first is outstanding.

The hooters

I thought his second was even better. To control a dropping ball like that, keep it low and find the bottom corner was unbelieveable technique. What a pity he was never fit - some player when he got going.

Remember going into town after the game - pubs and clubs, full of dons fans celebrating. I was absolutely blootered by 3am and completely hoarse from shouting!

FIIIIIVE JAMIE SMIIIIIITHS

That was indeed a fantastic night out! I was working at 7am the night day but didn't give a fuck once I got into town.

I was at work the next day, slightly hungover, tequila for each goal and 2 hours sleep. Thankfully it was only a half day, and then out for Mad Friday. The draw also helped perk me up a fair bit. Couldn't do that nowadays, would be struggling big time.

Brilliant game though, I think amplified with the low expectation levels beforehand. Some great goals from Smith. It was a shame he was always injured, him and Lee Miller were a great partnership.

On Jamie Smith, it would be interesting to see if he would have been able to stay fit more often if the guys that dealt with Pawlett had been around at the time...

Amazing atmosphere, although for sheer entertainment and 'holy crap WTF just happened' factor I marginally preferred the Bayern 2-2 game.

I almost floated back down the road to Edinburgh after the Copenhagen game, rarely has a football match made me that happy. I was like a zombie at work the following day, but happy on the inside!

Meaningless game. A meaningless victory, the only one of six or eight games played in that campaign where we actually scored more than the opposition and a win that meant absolutely fuck all in the overall scheme of things. Apart from something big to losers who have never won anything. Is this what we're becoming? A team who have no history of winning anything supported by people who have never seen us win anything and by people who have zero expectations of us ever winning anything? Miller and Calderwood have won. The weegies hated us and still do, for our overwhelming arrogance in spitting our many advantages back in their faces and our lack of compassion in reminding them of their many disadvantages. Who's to say that they were wrong?
