DandyDon KD
If you think about it, this month could have been an absolute disaster and ruined our season. But instead we have reached the league cup final by defeating St Johnstone 4-0, knocked Celtic out of the Scottish cup at their own ground and beat Celtic in the league breaking their hopes of finishing the season unbeaten. It has been a very very good month! 1 Link to comment
boboisared
Not perfect as we lost to Partick but I'll grudgingly accept how it's went. Link to comment

If we win the league cup, i'd take a league defeat to Partick any day of the week. Link to comment
dave_min
McInnes is playing the long game here. Allowing Partick to get 3 point last week means we guarantee ourself 9 points off them next season (or something). Link to comment

ChutneyLove
McInnes should win "Manager of the Year" if The Dons do no more this season (for what award he'll stick in the loft is worth). The achievement is already there for all to see. He won't rest on his laurels though and I trust him to continue pressing to get more out of the players and deliver a cup double. The fact that Neil Lennon wins managerial awards is a joke. Considering that cups aren't considered - so no CL results they may fluke against under-strength, already qualified opponents - then with the finances at his disposal, only months where Smeltic win each and every game by a minimum of 6 goals should see him rewarded. As has been pointed out in another thread, it took him from 12 minutes to 45 minutes to realise what was wrong on Tuesday - by which time the damage was done. I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually one of his backroom staff that was listening to the radio pundits that suggested the change, not his own idea. Long may he be Smeltic manager, because if they had anyone in with half a clue, they really would be unbeatable. Link to comment
