Cup final allocation will not be 50 / 50 split

Recommended Posts

Absolute shite.

What is true is police and celtic prefer one club to take north stand and hence more than 50% of the tickets.

Cant be arsed to explore ways of segregating it as it is not straightforward

you seem to have a fairly decent sourse in club, you must hasve heard similar!

The SPFL,

informed the club last week, fat charlie given press release for story next week.

Got feck all to do with them anyway - it's the SFA that run the Scottish Cup.

I don't want it in our favour. If we're going to win it I want the crowd to have at least the chance of a 50/50 split so TSMSTID (4YYWFA) haven't the chance to blame the increased Aberdeen allocation for their teams lack of support and motivation. I'm sure that we would both sell our allocations of 20 odd thousand and the atmosphere would be electric.

Anyone saying we "deserve" more than Utd can't be disappointed if we get there and Sevco get more than us.

All of this won't be a problem if we get pumped by St. Johnstone but the fight has to be fought just in case.

Scottish fuckin football, only here would the useless cunts in charge try to argue that anything other than a 50/50 split of tickets for a cup final is the way to go.

Remember the same shitstorm blew up before the 2000 final against Rangers 1872, what was the final split of tickets then?

Edit: Have the SFA forgotten this?

"A policy decision has now been taken for future Scottish Cup finals that, all things being equal, the tickets will be equally allocated between the two competing clubs," said an SFA spokesman.

Aberdeen were bitterly disappointed after failing to get an equal split for the Hampden Park final last May. Rangers received 24,598 tickets for the 52,000-capacity stadium while Aberdeen took 17,620.

On a sidenote, I parked up next to the Kings Links driving range before the game on Saturday and a few guys were walking to the ground singing 'four years and you've won f*ck all" at the top of their voices. Two of these guys looked like the mongs that were pointed out in a pic of the fans on Union Street parade. These mongs were seemingly the guys that regularly spout pish and used to sit at back of RDU.

Are you one of these mongs Pudgie? Did you sing this pathetic chant on the way to the ground as I had to cover my sons ears?

Really? And what would you know about the school that my son goes to, or how old he is?

Swearing carries a fine under the 'Public Disorder Act'. I'm not about to start preaching about the values in life, as I swear as much as the next person. I can expect some tasty words within the ground itself. But in an open area, within yards of lots of kids... this is not acceptable behaviour.

What?

Obviously being sarcastic - I'm not about to start taking ear defenders to the game. Kids will grow up hearing all sorts, and it's my decision to seat him in an area of the ground where he hears this sort of thing. He asked me what they were calling Willo Flood (a wanker).... not the sort of discussion you really want to get into with a young 8yr old.
