Stoney
Played 50 times last season so doubt he's here to warm the bench. Link to comment

Pudgie
Cheltenham back Scott Brown after 'players not trying' rantCheltenham chairman Paul Baker has said any players not giving their all for the club will not be given new deals. His comments came after goalkeeper Scott Brown publically criticised two of his team-mates after Saturday's defeat by Rochdale. Sounds like he doesn't fuck about. Another player with a no nonsense attitude to training? Can only be a good thing for me. EDIT: Getting very good comments on a Cheltenham forum.http://www.robinsnestforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16561 Link to comment

spamspamspam
No idea what Scott Brown will be like but the 5 fans Cheltenham have on their footie board think its a miss and a good op for him http://www.robinsnestforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16561 Ash Taylor looks a decent signing but know fuck all about him either so thats just based on his U21 international slot and him playing regularly in L1 for the last 3-4 years. Hopefully both settle in quick and do well. Link to comment
hopeisimportant
Ash Taylor seems to be a CB. Does that mean we will only have Considine and Robertson as out LB options again next season?! Link to comment
tommo1903
Ash Taylor will be the successor to King Russell's throne. Scott Brown will be number 1 next season, no way someone thats played 49 games last season is here to sit on the bench. Still need a fuckin left back. Link to comment
Bigslick
Looks like more good work by the management, according to the interweb AT is a central defender. Looks like DM regards him as Russells replacement. Link to comment
Tord31
I know nothing about either of these players having never seen them play before Goalie - pleased weve signed a keeper that has been first pick as far back as I could be arsed to check. I dont know when the last time we signed a keeper who had been number 1 at their previous club? It might be as far back as Preece.Surprised we are signing a centre back that on the surface aint going to command an instant starting slot - dont fully see the point in that so hope he comes good very quickly and can make a bid for a regular start Link to comment
buchanskii
urgh, Ash Taylor is a scouser. Link to comment
Karl Fletcher
Left back and Striker to come then? Cooking wi' gas like. Link to comment
Bigslick
Don't think we are getting a left back now. Taylor replaces Tate's position within the squad and allows Consi to continue as a left back rather than fighting for a place in central defence. 1 Link to comment
Foster14
Looks like next season's squad is starting to shape nice and early in the summer. Left back and a striker would hopefully be the next two signings. Link to comment
Popular Post CTFCDon
Cheltenham Town fan here. You have signed a quality keeper in Scott Brown. Has been the best and most consistent keeper in League 2 for the last few seasons. Incredible shot stopper and plays with passion. Doesn't command his area as well as some but a really safe pair of hands. Well done on a great signing...you won't be disappointed. Good Luck Scotty 16 Link to comment

tup
We must pull out all the stops to sign Graeme Shinnie. 1 Link to comment
RowieMan
good start, somebody in to challenge langfield, and some real depth at CB so that we have genuine options. still need at least one natural left back as a minimum. anything else would be a bonus. good to see Logan signed a 2 year deal as well. Gk - langfield and BrownRB - Logan, Jack CB - Anderson, Reynolds, Considine, Taylor, ShaughnessyLB - XXX?, Robertson CM - Robson, Flood, Jack, Smith, LowRW PawlettLW Mcginn, Hayes ST - Rooney, Mcmanus (needs out on loan), Shankland, lola! Fairly happy with the quality in their, if we can prop that up with a few youths coming through we should be looking good. Link to comment
Foster14
Shinnie has the ability to play left back and also more advanced. Wouldn't say the signing of Taylor suggests that we won't go for a versatile left back. Link to comment
Redstar
If he's half as good as his namesake Fatty Broon...Clangers will have played his last for us...happy fu*king days Link to comment

The Boofon
Deek said he was looking to bring in a midfielder and a striker in if I remember correctly? So if 2-3 to come, hopefully we get that and a LB. EDIT: Hamill. Link to comment
spamspamspam
if its 1 or 2 more I'd happily settle for a LB and an attacking midfielder Link to comment
