fine-n-dandy
They have signed a fair few players (a dozen to date) & are still looking to sign more. Not worried about them in the slightest (as no idea of the level of their signings) but if I was a Utd fan I'd be a little worried because Hartley coming to get you's. Games between them this season could be quite decent. Hope Dundee finish above Utd in around 10th place. Link to comment
daytripping
They really need to merge, utter madness having two grounds in the same street in such a small city. Would cause outrage like the Inverness merger but for the good of the game and Dundee it needs done, it won't happen but should. Link to comment
ChutneyLove
Absolutely should merge. They'd get over it in a wee while. Same with the Embra clubs. Might make it a bit more of a challenge when The Dons played them too. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Could call them Dundee Amalgamated or something to save arguments. Link to comment
BrianFaePerth
Common sense says we should share a stadium, and while the average Dee is fine with that, there are plenty across the road that canna bear the idea. Merging the teams will never happen, and what good would it do anyway? A bigger fan base yes, but still no money. Link to comment
Dynamo
Dundee will be the 'surprise' team this season. Maybe 5th or 6th place. Link to comment

A strong Dundee would be good for the league this season. Games at Dens should make up for the loss of Edinburgh away days. No reason why they can't make it into the top six. Link to comment
RUL
I can't think of a worse idea than the dundee clubs merging? Both can pull big crowds on their own, in Scottish terms anyway. Would only be a negative merging them. Link to comment
Henry
I can think of plenty ideas that are worse than the Dundee clubs merging. Chocolate fireguards and ashtrays on motorbikes to name just two. Link to comment

Walking into the Rangers end at Ibrox dressed in a Celtic kit, including socks, and singing about Davie Cooper would also be a worse idea. Funny, but the consequences would be pretty awful.
