I like him.

Reminds me of Brian Irvine.

Tall and gangly and plenty of folk who know nothing about football thinking he's shite.

Yes he has had a couple of bad moments touch wise but he's a defender first and foremost. If he was ace at passing the ball he'd be in midfield.

Does the job he's there to do quite well. Will only improve with time.

Was thinking the same thing. I'm a big fan of the kind of player who can dominate other teams through a combination of skill and being a mad bastard. Guys like Keane and Souness were good players who demanded respect and could dominate a game simply through their never taking shite regardless of opponent. We've lacked that sort of player for a while. Nigel Pepper springs to mind... but he was pish and a bit too mad. Windass would be a brilliant template to use, though.
