He has done very well as manager for them for the past few seasons to be fair to him.

He's a fucking bell end though and I hate the man.

Read somewhere that they finished 'best of the rest' three years on the trot under McCall.

That is a fantastic achievement if true.

Think it was Tup who said that McCall would relegate Motherwell when he was appointed? It's taken three years, but he might have managed this year...

After doing a quick 'Harcus' this thread appeared: http://www.afc-chat.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=23404

I note Motherwell have signed some lower league dross from England, Grella from Leeds, and Jones from Walsall.

Exactly the type of signing policy that landed us in hot water over the last 18 months.

The problem McCall has is that he must be of the opinion, as McGhee was, that these guys can thrive in the SPL, even though they canna get a game in the lower reaches of English football.

He's in for the same rude awakening, Motherwell will plummet down the table under this odious ginger arsed hun, mark my words.

The proof will be in the pudding, let's see how Motherwell go from now on.

Down the table without a shadow of a doubt, and they'll be relegation candidates next season. McCall is making a mistake in thinking the football up here is of a standard where players who cannot get a game in England are going to make a success of it in the SPL.

Leeds are bulleting this guy for a reason, there's no way he'd be going to Motherwell otherwise.

Can see a scenario coming that Well will go bust fairly soon and guess who will be lined up to fill their SPL spot ?

That's right, Hibs

They'd probably get relegated if they go into admin as they'd finish bottom of the league...so the Champions of the Championship would replace them. Definitely not Hibs.

Apparently Motherwell require 400k by January or its admin for them...

The better half drew that to my attention. I think it's just to save someone else from owning the club. They're making a desperate last plea for cash to take control of the club, if not, it's one of the alternatives.

Aye a wee euro run would have helped them majorly.
