From what i`ve seen of him this season, he`s been giving away too many free-kicks, i`d still play him though while flood is out .

Hopefully nicky low is back soon to challenge robson for that spot .

It's a worry without Flood for a couple of months though. I guess we will now see just how important Flood is to the team. I will defo miss his work rate in the middle. Time for the midfield to up their work rate.

 

I think Low or Smith could play the flood role. Not as tenacious but with the added value of being a better footballers.

The amount of effort he puts into the game I am surprised he is not injured more often.

 

You could see the injury happening as he stumbled in his effort to keep upright and not give up on the race. He should have gave the attacking players shirt a tug early in the race. Would have been worth the booking.

 

If only the other players would show as much effort.

Not sure who I'd have in my starting eleven first. Both have their flaws but I think I'd rather keep Robson to come on and use his experience when we're a goal up with 10-15 mins to go. 'Mon Nicky, now's your time to shine!

When was the last time Low got 90 minutes? I think he deserves his chance and if he's pish in the first game or two then we can always get Robson on. Folk have been crying out for youth to be used, now's our chance.

When he's fit I'd start Low over Robson every game. Low played a blinder last time he got a start. Also our best free kick taker.

I like Low, I think he's got great potential to be a very good player and is probably the direct successor to Flood with his style of play.

Personally I think Robson has been a shadow of his former self this season and I think his legs have gone if I'm honest.

 

Any likelyhood we might see one of the youth team pushed into the squad and given some opportunities in that position.
