Verdict about to come in over the shooting of Michael Brown.

 

Seems like the authorities already know what it's going to be, as National Guard starts taking up positions around the city, ready to stamp on any civil unrest.

 

Seems like everyone else suspects what the verdict will be, as masked protesters start taking up positions around the city.

 

All fun and games in the Deep South :)

Probably a few more shootings later then.

 

I'm listening to the local law-enforcement... seems to be subdued at the moment, but they might have been ordered to keep radio traffic to a minimum. Already heard that shots were reported near Ferguson PD station, something has been.. "Completely destroyed", though I missed what it was... a reporter just got smashed over the head with a brick... oh.. shots fired in front of the Fire Department now... some panicky cop who sounded like Beaker aff the Muppets just said something incomprehensible, but he sounded like he needed fresh underwear....

 

...large crowds forming.

 

Choppers with spotlights buzzing around, tear gas fired.

 

This is exactly how Planet of the Apes started.

 

Anyone who's going to be up late, and fancies lugging in... oh.. dumpster set on fire :) .... here's the link to various local Emergency services.

 

Missouri State Highway Patrol is quite interesting.

Well, that's the looting started :)

 

Feel aggrieved at a legal decision? Go smash into an electronics store and start nicking shit.

 

Always a good way to express the oppression you feel.

 

Now they're looting Walgreen's (Boots the Chemist) and Family Dollar (Poundstretcher). With Christmas coming up shortly they're no doubt expressing their anger by getting small gifts for the family free of charge. If this was Scotland the pubs and Indian Restaurants would be the focus of people's 'ire'.

 

More shooting, riots may be kicking off... thank fuck this wasnae up here... Cop car might be on fire, possibly a copper shot... SWAT teams en route.

 

Oh, they've set fire to the Walgreen they're looting. That makes sense... set fire to the building you're looting.

 

"Walgreens on fire... 30 to 40 looters continue to run in and out" :hysterical:

 

That's a McDonald's going up like a christmas tree inna... no doubt people inside still looting hamburgers though.

 

Cops starting to sound a wee bit overwhelmed... never mind, the arrival of dozens of trigger happy SWAT shooters should up the ante a fair bit.

 

"Okay, lads... here's the list of people we can shoot."

 

"What does it say?"

 

"Blacks... end of list."

Well, that escalated quickly.

 

Full blown civil disturbance now, with "heavy gunfire", mass arson and looting, cops abandoning what they're calling the "Hot Zone", SWAT teams in position, fire and brimstone coming down from the skies, rivers and seas boiling, forty years of darkness, earthquakes, volcanoes, the dead rising from the grave, human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

Every thing I read at the time suggested the copper was in the wrong?

Just to play devils advocate - while I (obviously) don't condone the shooting of the unfortunate involved - would it not be right to say that its the US black community who commit the largest amount of gun crime, far out of all proportion with their social numbers?

 

And i would expect that a large amount of this black violent crime affects non-black people?

 

And so are these displays of black self-righteousness not a bit flimsy, if not an outright vehicle for them to conduct looting?

 

This is certainly the case in London, where black people (a minority group) are responsible for most gun crime. Of course, its considered crass to point this out.

I think it's one of those that everyone has an opinion so anything you read has been influenced by their agenda.

 

Going by what was said in the hearing (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2014/11/here-are-transcripts-and-audio-darren-wilsons-grand-jury-hearing starts at page 195) I can see why there hasn't been any repercussions for the officer. Granted that's one man's opinion of the story but that's all that evidence can really be taken from.

People being categorised due to their skin colour is probably the main problem. CS ^.

 

Your right that doesn't help - but that's what happening with the reporting of a "white policeman" being the shooter.

 

Its a tragedy that someone has been killed, I dont see how the colour of policeman makes it any better or worse.

 

I also dislike the never-ending implication that Police forces are institutionally racist. Its not the 1950s.

This guy was no angel, just prior to the shooting he was filmed stealing stuff from a shop and being aggressive to the shop keeper. The jury would have had all the evidence much of which will be released, they were in a better position than anyone to determine who was to blame.

 

Skin colour doesn't come into it, if he'd been law abiding and simply walking down the street he wouldn't have been shot, I'm sure the evidence must have shown this.

Incidentally was speaking about this on Sunday. A lad I know just back in Aberdeen for a few days who goes to college out there, flew back from nearest airport - St Louis. Was telling me how racist it is out there, just normal guys/girls, racist as fuck.

I was just reading up on this, if you go to the daily mail you'll see the injuries on the policeman, if a big hulk of a guy is punching you in those circumstances then it's only right he gets nailed, live by the sword....

 

Also don't see the point in torching and looting businesses, this is their hometown and many of those places will be owned by the black community.

 

Best bet for the police is pulling out and leaving them to it, they'll get bored soon.

No, it wouldnt be correct to state that about the Church at all.

 

It would be correct to state it about certian sexually dysfuncional social groups though...

Ive never been to St Louis, so will take that at face value - its really weird, huh, especially given how diverse the US is.

 

You would think that the more diverse a place was, the less intolerance there would be.

I fucking doubt that. Look at how quickly police turn up and shoot a 12 year old loon. He shouldn't have had a BB gun or whatever it was anyways at 12, but the police officer once again clearly lied.

 

 

A wee laddie playing with a toy gun... cops show up, see he's black, and immediately shoot the kid dead.

 

This fucking nugget wanders around a residential area with a real and loaded RIFLE, with a jungle knife hanging from his belt. Cops do fuck all about it.

 

Oh... but he's a white nugget, so that okay.
