NorthernLights24
It feels like this year the UK has embraced this piece of American culture like never before -http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-30241459 I find the whole thing utterly depressing. I thought the folk who queued up for hours on Boxing Day were sad cunts but the hordes of rampaging masses that Black Friday attract is something else. 2 Link to comment

Don Fonte
Minks the lot of them. Fighting over a shitty tv with an extra £100 off. What I don't understand is what Tesco, Asda etc get out of this. They could easily shift all this stuff online surely. For the publicity perhaps, fuck knows. Link to comment

StandFree1982
Websites are downPeople fighting over "bargains"People queuing for hours to get into shops It's pretty sad what people will do to save a bit of money on something they don't need. "Oh look...this pizza base cheese grater is down to £40 from £80. I know I already have a grater and I really don't need this, but i'm saving myself £40..." 1 Link to comment

I've seen it as a convenient excuse to get the Christmas presents on pay day without leaving the house. Link to comment
slippers
Just had a quick look on John Lewis at the Tv's! Their all old models! Just a way to get rid of old stock I think! I'm not 100% sure as I havnt checked up but even some of the discount prices r exaggerated to make it look more. Embarrassing for anyone who was part of some of these videos going about of people wrestling for tvs! Link to comment

Ke1t
The hefty blonde cheerleader on the far right would get 100% off Kelt, that's for fucking sure... she looks a fool bitch. Anyway, coppers walking into McDonald's armed with guns, Cheerleaders, Black Friday Mondo-minkiness, the forced hero-worship of the military... Britain has turned into America, you just haven't noticed yet. Hang your fucking heads. But back to that picture... If I were in the market for a new Mrs Kelt, it would be the brunette on the left. Fatty on the right would be getting it on the side though. I just thought you should all know that. Link to comment

Guest
It is indeed thoroughly depressing but wholly understandable. The dumbing down of society is now complete and by fuck it didn't take too long nor required too much effort. 3 Link to comment
