I used to go to all matches in late 60's including reserve matches at pittodrie every other week.

They should bring back the reserve league, every alternate week. gives everyone the chance to see up and coming talent.

Some reserve games with crowds over 10,000, but normally a couple thousand.

That's where I first saw Tommy Craig, as a reserve for Aberdeen.

He was some player, for some reason never reached his potential.

Seem to recollect he could strike a ball harder than Eusabio.

But of course in them days we didn't need Eusabio.......................................

Tommy Craig is the embodiement of what is wrong with the coaching in our game. A relic , part of the old school who believe they have some form of entitlement

If this league you talk of is to see the up and coming talent, it should be restricted to under 20s imo my opinion.
