buchanskii
He does. That said YEllow Brick Rd abd Sorr y Seems to be are some if my favourite drinking songs. Thon arsholes 'Blue' ruined sorry seems for me. Which opens up probably the music genre that holds the biggest social stigma 'boy bands'. James Blunt is a good shout, always comes across as humble and up for a laugh every time I see him. Link to comment

dj_bollocks
Watched American Psycho the other week and was reminded how good some of Phil Collins early solo stuff is… As much as I'm embarrassed to admit it… Can't abide his Genesis stuff mind… And on a personal note The Trashcan Sinatras… They were going to be the next Smiths according to the NME... 360
A Flock of Seagulls. Great musicians and even better songwriters. Yet, they are continuously mocked and put down because of some unjustifiably scoffed at haircuts. Link to comment

daytripping
I'm repeating a name already mentioned but by fuck Gary Barlow is a talented musician, I know the too cool for school types will instantly sneer but he's a great song writer, singer and man. I watched a documentary about him and he came across as a really down to earth man, was contacted by a friend of a girl who was due to be married, watch this and tell me he's not a great man, I loved seeing this and his genre is not my fav. https://vimeo.com/94505211 Link to comment

DD1903
Jason Farrell. Has been in american punk/post punk bands, such as bluetip, swiz and red hare. Blue tip are a superb band that should have got more recognition. Dischord 101 is a great album Link to comment
Clydeside_Sheep
I will echo the praise for Lionel Richie. His 1986 "Dancing on the Ceiling" album was much appreciated in my early days. Link to comment

My under the radar faves. The 1990s. esp song called see you at the lights. Saw them at Drummonds about 8yrs ago. Brilliant. British sea power. Chris devotion & the expectations. Frankie & the heartstrings Figure 5 (in my fave 3 or 4 Scottish bands ever). Only one album Bonfires. Brilliant with best song dont lock me out. Black kids. Again only 1 album released about 2009 produced by Bernard butler I thought they were bound for greatness, then nothing. Last but not least Link to comment

elephantstone78
Just watching belladrum highlights. Fucking love the maniacs. I really like idlewild but live they r a bit dull especially noticeable when an act like manics follows them. Looks a good festival with none of the neds that infest titp Link to comment
