boboisared
Donaldson is the 11th top scorer in the league Doyle is not in the top 25 top scorers "Banging in the goals"Donaldson - 15 League goals. How many does Rooney have in the SPFL? Rooney is a much better player. Doyle - Only signed inJanuary, didn't he? Had noticed him a few times although I did think he had scored quite a few goals, maybe not. He's still pish though and flopped at Hibs. Link to comment
E-P-K
Boro are an insignificant club. Ravanelli agrees Link to comment
StandFree1982
In this day and age it's impressive that just 5 years ago they were in League 2 and could soon be in the EPL. Good on them if they can do it. Just done what Gretna and The Rangers have been doing, spending loads of money getting promoted up the leagues. The only difference is that the English Premier League is worth a shit load more money so it's worth speculating to accumlate down there, up here you get your bus fair home and a £10 lunch voucher for reaching the Premiership. 360
I wonder if there is even a thread on the Boro forum about the Scottish Championship, let alone one as active as this one is. Link to comment
E-P-K
Bournemouth have a net spend of £600K per season over the last 5 season. They are only 9th in the Championship spenders, and considering they are competing with several rich clubs, and several clubs with parachute EPL payments then they have done very very well for a club there size. Context min. Was a bona fide end of season game for Aberdeen, nothing to gain, or lose in real terms. St J on the other hand had to win to be sure of finishing 4th Aberdeen will be in Europe next season, and challenging for the league, Norwich will not. Link to comment

Clydeside_Sheep
Well done to Alex Neil and Norwich. Said on the radio it was one year to the day that he took Hamilton up via the Playoffs - history repeats itself in the same day. Stephen Fry, fat pederast and Norwich fan, was in the crowd - giving it big-licks, an oscar-worthy performance as though he was just "enjoying the game" (he knows full well cameras are on him, of course. Everything about Fry is meticulously staged managed). Its said that Norwich now get a £150m windfall for promotion. How many years worth of budget would that be for us? (Football money is quite ridiuclous, when you think theres folk starving, isnt it?) Anyway glad to see a Scots manager do well - and glad that the EPL now has at least one Scots manager again.
