Edinburgh_sheep
http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/fp/aberdeen-fc/adam-rooney-receives-ireland-call-up/ Fair play to the lad, he has been brilliant this season and deserves it. Hopefully scores a couple against Engerland! Link to comment
RAZOR
Thats excellent. Hopefully doesn't score against Scotiland though. Link to comment
tup
Well done and fully deserved. Hopefully he does not play against Scotland as he's better than the dumplings they had up front at Celtic Park. Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Delighted for him Shite timing for us though. Considering our own Euro qualifiers start not long after the game. And the fact it's against Scotland!! Link to comment

dj_bollocks
Well deserved, but would have preferred that he had a rest up and ready for our season which will probably start before this one's even finished... 1 Link to comment
Tord31
He is the first player to be confirmed on the 366 day season. Our first day of pre-season was 12th June 2014. Will McGinn and Reynolds follow suit? Knowing our normal luck with international players he'll get a start in the closed door game (Northern Ireland), be an unused sub in the friendly (England) and miss out on a shirt in the real game (Scotland). Good for the lad though to encourage him to stick at it Link to comment
dave_min
Pretty sure McGinn started pre-season late because he's been away playing for the (bad) Irish in South USA. Link to comment
Tord31
well remembered - that is correct Link to comment
Chewie37
if he does well, will we see Championship clubs sniffing around for him? Link to comment

Tord31
Is that Niall's brother? Paul McGinn (Dundee), Stephen McGinn (Dundee) and John McGinn (St Mirren) are the brothers. Jack McGinn, former SFA President, is the Granda Kieron Gibbons is the Cousin. Will Mcginn be related to them? I'd imagine he's shagged the sister if that counts? Link to comment
Clydeside_Sheep
Well done to him, nice to see him get a bit of recognition - its well earned. However, if he gets injured whilst playing for the Micks, I will be very cross. Link to comment
tup
Who will you be supporting when Ireland play Scotland Clydeside? Link to comment

tup
Schoolboy error. I would have needed to type in 'one hand' for your sentence to apply Link to comment
Tord31
McGinn and Reynolds rested against Dundee because they are going to be involved in the internationals. Rooney still playing though? Strange I would have thought he is more likely than Reynolds to be involved Link to comment
caledonia
Great news for him just shows you do not need to Play for the bigot brothers to get capped Link to comment
