Clydeside_Sheep
This is fantastic news. What is even better is that with the timing of the announcement - with ongoing speculation in the background - its a kick in the teeth to the Boche and a great demonstration of his commitment to us Link to comment
Ke1t
A fantastic 'Get it up ye' to the lower league club with ideas above its station Link to comment
minijc
We're like a new club from 10 years ago, everything we done was in the papers before we even tried it, had no scouts and everything was done in such a shit manner that we were held as a laughing stock, now we are one of the shrewdest clubs around, new players kept under wraps until it's a done deal, current players almost all signed up on long term deals, youth players coming through and others being signed and our manager on a long contract, it's fucking great. Clydeside_Sheep
Great statement of intent His quotes on the club website make for good reading: Manager Derek McInnes added. "I've said all along that I don't want our tenure with Aberdeen to be remembered for having lifted one trophy and that we are looking to have the type of scenes witnessed last March replicated on a regular basis. "Tony and I are totally committed to bringing as much success as we possibly can to this Club and, while we've already achieved some progress, we still have a long way to go. This is a great club, with great fans and a fantastic squad of players and I'm looking forward to what promises to be an exciting season ahead. "The commitment shown by the Chairman and the players towards me made this decision very easy to make and that commitment from Tony and myself will be reciprocated." http://www.afc.co.uk/news/6331.php#.VXsYx_lVhBd So its GIRFUY to the sevconians Link to comment
