League revenue distribution is nothing like that at all.

It has nothing to do with how many times teams are live on TV.

Revenue is distributed to the Premiership clubs as percentage shares of the total Net Commercial Revenues, according to their final league position.

1st: 13.40%
2nd: 9.60%
3rd: 8.25%
4th: 7.25%
5th: 6.75%
6th: 6.25%
7th: 5.75%
8th: 5.50%
9th: 5.25%
10th: 5.00%
11th: 4.75%
12th: 4.50%

And continues with decreasing percentages for Championship, League 1 and League 2.

Yes but is that percentage distribution from 100% of the revenue pot?

Way I understood it was some of pot was distributed between teams & rest of pot is held aside & dished to each club that is actually selected for televised games under the guise of ‘compensation’ for lost match day revenue at turnstiles etc.

The SPFL  is the clubs, it's a members organisation.

The voting structure, the financial  set up all agreed and put in place by the 42 clubs.

Now granted 30 clubs have probably  little or no chance changing the structure  or getting better financial  distribution,  as they would  have done so by now.

So it's the top 12, that are the cunts and they had a chance to change through  changing the voting structure  and chose not to

Net commercial revenue at end of season is split. I get that but there is a fee paid to televised clubs each week also in compensation for gate losses etc. which is taken from pot throughout year as expense pre net? That was how it used to be structured as it helped give arse cheeks even more.

I texted a Tim mate after the 7th goal went in and joyously enquired as to what the actual fuck Celtic we’re doing?

”playing exactly the same way they did against St Johnstone” was his honest response. And that’s on Rodgers. Complete arrogance to go to Germany and expect to go toe to toe with the Champions League finalists. He thinks he’s the cleverest man in the room and gets utterly humiliated in Europe time and time again because he doesn’t have the real measure of his team. He’ll now blame finances blah blah blah. Never has ever mentioned money when putting 6 past an SPFL team. Get it right up ye’s. Absolute Groundhog Day at Parkhead.

Lining up 45 or 50 yards from goal is absolutely idiotic and bordering on disrespectful when playing a proper football team

No there isn't.

The current TV deal means that Sky can only visit each ground a maximum of 5 times a season (it was previously a maximum of 4).

The new Premier Sports deal from this season means an extra 20 live games, but I'm not sure how many times they are allowed to visit each ground (I would be surprised if more than 2).

All the TV and other commercial revenue goes into the overall pot and is split the same percentages as detailed earlier.

There are fees paid to clubs in the cups whose games are televised.

Premier Sports Cup

Group Stage - Each Team: £18,000
Knockout Stages - Each Team: £30,000

Scottish Cup
1st Round - Each Team: £1,500
2nd Round - Each Team: £2,250
3rd Round - Each Team: £3,500
4th Round - Each Team: £24,000
5th Round - Each Team: £24,000
6th Round - Each Team: £24,000
Semi Final - Each Team: £60,000
Final - Each Team: £125,000

Out of the 5 Daily Record 'journalists' to predict the result of this match only two of them thought they would get beat.  Insane stuff to think the majority of them thought Celtic would go there and get a point.

That’s because daily Rangers journalists are idiots so no real surprise there
