Foster14
I see this is now in place and been communicated a bit before the Celtic game. Seems like a good enough idea but was surprised at how little of the value of the ticket they offer to you relinquish your seat for a game. 25% of the ticket value sold seems awful low. I can't work out if this is based on the value the season ticket holder would pay, or if it is a concession, you'd get 25% of that fee. Also, the cashback acts as a credit against what you pay for your season ticket the following year (meaning you only get rewarded if you renew). Will be interesting to see how successful the plan is, but I've always just given my season ticket away to a mate if I can't make a match. I don't see this being enough to make me change that unless I had no-one to give it to. If I was in the market for selling my season ticket, I am sure I could find someone who'd be willing to get a discounted ticket (say 50%) and pay me cash in hand for it. Link to comment
Tommy
Respect to @@Dynamo, he couldn't be arsed doing that and gave me his ST so I can put my programmeon his seat and tell anyone it's a taken seat. Link to comment

spamspamspam
I think its a god idea.If youre stuck away on a work trip or whatever and cant go then you give the club a call and allow them to make some extra cash for that game. 25% back in your hipper is better than nothing... dave_min
Any ST holders boycotting the Hamilton game? I refuse to pay £30 for that shite, would rather go for free. Link to comment

Its not for you to get a bit of cash back on, its for the club to make a little bit of extra revenue. They aint saying dont give your ticket away, they are saying dont leave your seat empty. If its going to be let us sell it again and we'll give you a wee ta muckle. Link to comment

Given the club has historically seen nothing for this, and I am surprised the percentage is so low. It only has real value when Pittodrie is heading for a sell out as I assume Aberdeen would actively sell empty seats over exchange seats when demand is low. Good idea in principle, just not sure there'd be a huge uptake of the plan as it is. Link to comment

I guess I am thinking from the perspective that I live in Aberdeen, I'll never find it difficult to pass the season ticket on to someone to use. Link to comment
