StandFree1982
Who would you like to see us bring in / what position would you like us to strengthen, and who do you think will leave / should leave in the window? I think we need someone stronger in the midfield who is going to go into tackles 100% and is strong in the air. We have some very good players in our midfield, but nobody that's going to stick a foot in where it hurts and put a bit of fear into the opposition. I would also like to see us bring in another striker. someone who is quick and is actually a footballer (for examples of the opposite of this, see Zola and Wright). Parker will likely be gone in January and Goodwillie isn't that type of player. It would be good to have someone who can feed off Rooney and give provide him with a bit more support. I wouldn't be surprised to see Logan leave in January. He had a fantastic season last time around, but he's been poor by his own standards this term and doesn't look like he wants to be here. I'd get rid of him for the benefit of both him and us. I'd not hold a grudge as he's done his part and having to do that trip home every week must be shite, but he'd be better off moving closer to home. Maybe let Smith go? if anyone shows any sign of interest. I'd personally like to see a bit more of him, but he's really not looking like he's in McInnes plans and Storie is even getting some game time so might spell the end of his time at Pittodrie. Dynamo
Out: Only if we bring in a replacement - Parker (shite). Robson (past it).In: I only want to bring a player in they're going to improve our team. Midfielder - if Shinnie is going to continue to yoyo between LB and CM, we'll need a better CM replacement than Flood. Attacker (Rooney is the only one scoring of our strikers). Tempted to say defender as we'll need to replace Logan soon enough anyway. I wouldn't let Smith go. He's still young, still in the 'got potential' bracket. Would be a bit hasty getting shot. Forgot about Robson, stick him on the coaching staff and terminate his playing contract. No point in him wasting a space on the bench that a youngster could be occupying and paying wages for him to just play U20 games every so often. I'd like Smith to stay but i'm just thinking if McInnes doesn't rate him and not playing him then it might be best to move him on. Link to comment
RAZOR
Parker has to be the first one out the door, I'm surprised it hasn't been done already. Striker and a goal scoring CM (hard but it has to be done) Link to comment
King Street Loon
Get rid of Parker and McGlaughlin. Loan ends anyway, so simple enough.Robson obviously isn't going to get a look in. Move into coaching role and seek a replacement.Midfield is a priority. I'd also like to see a winger brought in to challenge McGinn or Hayes. They've had it easy for too long and I think that's reflected in some of their performances. Link to comment

Agreed about Robson; he needs to hang up his boots and use his experience and influence to help off the park. Link to comment

Tord31
Parker and McLaughlin will leave. It appears going by his twitter that Ryan M is already back training with Liverpool. I think we should make a decent effort to sell Logan for a modest transfer fee. In the way - would be keen to get Ross Draper on board for a wee £100k if we lose Logan we'll need a loanee right back also a decent winger would be good as we are over reliant on mcginn and hayes performing (and playing on the wing) Link to comment

Also, mcloughlin going back to Liverpool, surely Klopp doesn't see anything in him? You don't know till you ask. A long term contract on a wage we can afford. He cant play at that level for much longer and how long will it be before they are spending big. We took too long to get Robson here. Already he was passed his best. Look at the difference both he and Hartley made to the team. Both leaders and that's what we would get from Adams. Some players and positions are worth pushing the boat out for. A leader out on the pitch is required. If not Adams a midfielder in that mould. Link to comment
newcastlered
Charlie Adam starts for a Premier League team. Absolutely no chance he joins us in January. Ridiculous thought. Jonny Russell also regularly plays for Derby who are in the playoffs. No chance of him coming in either. For midfield I'd like Jackson Irvine in at defensive midfielder. Andy Shinnie would be a cracking signing but is regularly on the bench at Birmingham so doubt that'll be possible. For right back to replace Logan fuck knows. Hopefully McInnes has been looking for another signing like Shay Logan when he came on loan. Link to comment
