Reed or deed
Dissapointed to lose Logan if he goes. I like him.Not sure sbout this Mcgowan character. Hope he turns out to be a player if it happens though. Link to comment
CalgaryDon
Personally I think he is defensively better than Logan however doesn't offer the same going forward. Under DM our team has improved each season. I believe that the overall team will be stronger come the start of next season - McGowan or no McGowan. Link to comment
The Hulk
I'm not entirely sure McGowan is better than Logan, he's not impressed me when I've seen him, he strikes me as a player who has already peaked and is working his way back down. I don't think he's at the standard we need; I think he'd only be filling a space until someone better comes along. Possibly controversial, but I'd be willing to take a chance on former Hearts right-back Craig Thomson on a short-term deal. He looked like a cracking prospect before his misdemeanour (he comes off the register next June). He's been playing junior the past year and it would conceivably take a while for him to get back up to SPL standard but I'd say bring him in in January (if Logan stays until the end of the season) and see how he gets on, maybe even loan him out for a month or so. strachanmcgheegoal
Don't have an issue with a defensive FB if we have McGinn ahead of him. I'd still love the goal scoring attitude laden Logan to bide like! Link to comment
Tord31
A striker to chip in with some goals would be dandy. Parker, Shankland and Goodwillie dont seemto be cutting it. Link to comment
BWG
Out: Parker, Goodwillie, Robson In: O'Halloran, Slater, Boyce Link to comment
Tord31
We certainly wont be paying three transfer fees - I think we can count on that Link to comment

Tord31
Boyce would certainly be handy - knows the way to goal. Either January or the summer I think we should be looking up to pick up an old head as losing Anderson and Robson in quick succession is a lot of experience disappearing from the dressing room Link to comment

Flood will be the only player over 30 next season at this rate .none spring to mind really. a half shout for john rankin - chairman of the pfa and regular pundit so has got some brains about him. would be a squad player only. A half shout once united are relegated? Link to comment
Tord31
presuming we need 2-3 keepers we could be picking up an old head for one of those Link to comment
