Told a couple of funny stories about Merson and one about how he missed out on signing a young Ian Wright. Very approachable and definitely one of the best sportsman speakers i've heard. The festive period must be fairly lucrative for those on the after dinner circuit! Was quite surprised to see him carrying what looked like a laptop bag. I've read his book and he mentions a few times that he has no idea how to use a computer! He also used this as part of his defense during his court case... also claiming that he could barely even read or write! Link to comment
