Pudgie
I'm sure there was some good advice on this the last time it was mentioned but I'm ducked if I can find it. Looking at a new A class, Juke or a 1 series to lease but the only time I've had experience with leasing is a business lease someone has a work. What's the best way to go about organising it? Local leasing options, dealerships or online? I'm guessing playing one off against another is the best way to get a good deal but what will they knock down easily and what are they more reluctant to? dave_min
I used http://www.contracthireandleasing.com/ Don't be too fussy and then play them off against eachother. Bargains to be had like. Link to comment

Henry
Millertime and rocket had a 'fascinating' debate on leasing in 2014. http://www.afc-chat.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=38019&hl=juke&page=1 Link to comment

I'm paying £107 a month for my brand new (entry level) Italian super car. First quote I got was £340 a month, but I was flexible, dropped a model and got my bargain. Big rewards for a little bit of effort, I spent an hour or so messaging every broker I could see with a copy'n'paste message. Link to comment

I've got a list of cars nae handy that I'd take so I might give scatter tactics a go. Link to comment

McPhee123
I was close to leasing through nationwidevehiclecontracts. But instead got a £10k loan from the bank with a decent interest rate and bought a 2 year old 2.0 Astra with nice big 19" alloys. Think in a few years I'll be happier with something to show for my cash instead of having to hand it back. That being said, leasing is certainly a road I'd go down for a second car, good to know you can play dealerships off against each other. Big rewards for a little bit of effort, I spent an hour or so messaging every broker I could see with a copy'n'paste message. Any magic words in your message for future reference? Link to comment
dave_min
It said something like: "2 years, 10k pa, best price. Will accept similar model" Link to comment

Pudgie
Oh @@dave_min min. Was it a 9 month up front? Looking for as little initial outlay as possible but nae sure if pushing up the deposit helps massively. Link to comment
dave_min
I got 3 months, the less deposit you pay the higher your monthly is gonna be. Your overall cost will be roughly the same though. Link to comment

Club5
Would recommend https://www.gateway2lease.com/as well as Dave_min's link to compare. The missus just got an SUV from there a couple of weeks ago. Unlike most, they allow a rolling lease after the initial period, so once the 2 years or whatever is up, you can just pay monthly and return it once you've saved a deposit for the next car. Adding full maintenance is only around £10 per month more. They also seem to have your preferred cars on offer or in stock for quick delivery. Link to comment
Iraq_Red
These are normally pretty good:- www.coast2coastcars.co.uk/finance-offers/ http://www.car-finance.net/ http://www.contractcars.com/ https://www.gateway2lease.com/ Contract Cars do seem to have really good deals, like this one http://www.contractcars.com/car-leasing/audi/a4-lease/ Link to comment
