Guest RosemountRed
See it now, joins us on 1st of July. ANOTHER Caley player. Link to comment
DelMonte
Liking that we are getting the business done quickly. I haven't seen much of him but sounds like a decent signing. Wonder what prick will start the Toure chant using the Storie/eys. Link to comment
The Oxford Don
Aberdeen Caley Thistle, right enough. Anyway he's a decent player so a tentative thumbs-up from me, so long as it doesn't detract from the real issues i.e. recruiting a goalkeeper who is an actual goalkeeper, and a centre-half who doesn't give me heart failure nine times per match. Patty
Wonder what prick will start the Toure chant using the Storie/eys.No cunt. It doesn't work. Just like Willo Flood/Barry Robson didn't work at Tanadice. Link to comment
ollie1903
Handy player from what i've seen. Many thanks to the scouts at Caley for allowing this transfer to go through. Link to comment
Guest RosemountRed
Aberdeen Caley Thistle indeed. 1 Link to comment
a don in oz
I wouldn't know him from larry. What are the opinions on him from those that have seen more of it? Link to comment
StandFree_MainStand
What position does this guy play? If he is a striker, thats 3 already for next season and McInnes only plays with one. The end for Shankland? Link to comment

a don in oz
The first two moves being two strikers is interesting though. Link to comment
ebbe
I wouldn't know him from larry. What are the opinions on him from those that have seen more of it?Looks a tidy player one minute then a donkey the next. Hard to judge, hopefully he hits the ground running and good luck to the gadgie. Link to comment
Avram
Aberdeen Caley Thistle indeed.Pretty sure we signed Storey from Swindon. Shinnie is the only player we have who McInnes has signed from Caley Link to comment
King Street Loon
I must confess to being ignorant to whether this guy is decent or not.I'll just have to wait and see I guess. Link to comment
Guest RosemountRed
Rooney, Storey, Jayden, Shankland & Nuttel Five strikers now, so that's that area sorted. Link to comment
herouali
Shankland is offskis! This guy has torn Shinnie apart on a few occassions. Nice one DM! Next... Link to comment

The end for Shankland? Centre-forward, bit of a unit without necessarily being a giant. Reasonably quick and a good finisher, gives us another option up top. Link to comment

The Oxford Don
Isn't Shinnie an immovable obstruction incapable of having a bad game........?? Ken you're being ironic, but anyone who saw Shinnie's "performance" away to Celtic will be in no doubt that that certainly isn't the case! Link to comment
Foster14
Storey has caused us problems this year, but that has largely come from our midfield reserving their worst and weakest performances for games against Inverness this season, given them plenty time to pick our passes in to space for Storey to exploit. Good signing, but we need to have someone pinging decent passes in to him to get the best from him. Link to comment
Daz the Don
Good addition, thought he looked a threat against us on a couple of occasions this season with a decent turn of pace. 13 goals for Caley last season is not a bad return at all. Primarily plays as a striker but also gives cover / competition for Hayes and Mcginn Link to comment
DelMonte
Shankland is offskis! This guy has torn Shinnie apart on a few occassions. Nice one DM! Next...Hope not. Plenty room for 4 strikers if we ditch playing 1 up front every single game. Link to comment
tommo1903
Storey is decent. Even if he's not a regular starter to begin with he's a far better attacking option from the bench than what we have currently. As I said on the other thread, good signing. Link to comment
Patty
What's the deal with the transfer windows/contracts and our European game? Does the window open 1st July? Do most contracts run until 30th June? Link to comment
Rabiusmaximus
Hughes's next signing will be a hankie, to wipe up the tears from caley fans Link to comment
Sonoftherock
I must confess to being ignorant to whether this guy is decent or not.I'll just have to wait and see I guess. Were you at the freezing match vs Caley on Boxing day this year? Storey was the very quick striker, who kept running between Considine and Quinn. His movement gave them a torrid afternoon. Having said that, he looked poor technically and made some very poor decisions. I remember saying to my mate, that if he was better with the ball at his feet, we'd have been about 0-5 down at half time! As mentioned on another thread, we now have options up front: Poacher - RooneyTarget man - StockleyQuick striker - Storey Link to comment
Dynamo
Hoep he didn't just look good cos it was our defenders he playing against Link to comment
