Bamber
might be the Europe........... Squad lists have to be with UEFA before the end of the month - most English contracts run to the end of the month - therefore if we want two keepers for Europe it makes sense to take alexander My question would be is he a new goalkeeping player/coach with the emphasis on coach seems daft to have him and marshall Just on Europe List A has to be submitted by the following fixed deadlines:a. 22 June 2015 (24.00CET) for all matches in the first qualifying round; Link to comment

Bamber
DR seem to be reversing slightly was " Neil Alexander is set to sign a deal with Aberdeen " now " is also expected to tie up former Hearts goalkeeper Neil Alexander, who will also help out on the coaching side at Pittodrie." Link to comment
Redstar
Youth GK coach...U20's and below?...Derek will have been stunned to see just how bad Lennox is...the goalkeeping situation has been dire at AFC for years...Dod Yule is most likely behind this master stroke. Link to comment

vanderark14
Seems bizarre to sign two keepers like this after the review Rodgers got last season. Mcinnes doesn't have much faith in our youth so I guess questions need to be asked of him or our youth system. I'd have preferred another outfield player and just the one keeper to let Rodgers and the new goalie fight it out for the No 1 spot but welcome to the new keepers anyway. Link to comment

I told you all along the Falkirk fans were not keen on him at all and they initially wanted rid within the first few months. Can't remember the lad on here from Stirling who also said he was rubbish after watching numerous times. Just because he saved a penalty against The Rangers people seemed to get the wrong idea. 1 Link to comment
BWG
I feel like people are basing their opinion on Rogers on facebook hype and nothing more. I watched a few Falkirk games and there was nothing about Rogers to indicate he's anywhere near the standard required. He's got potential but he's still got work to do. Link to comment
Guest milne_afc
Aye, Rogers did himself no favours in the play-offs. Definitely not ready for the big team yet. Link to comment
King Street Loon
I'm happy enough for Rogers to go back out on loan and continue to learn his trade. He would be learning fuck all sitting on the bench or turning out in the development league or an occasional cup game.Playing week in week out is what he needs. 1 Link to comment
Tord31
If the net cost of taking in Alexander (say £1k/week) and loaning out Rogers (say Falkirk pay £500/week) is only a few hundred quid a week then McInnes probably sees it as a no brainer. if Lewis doesnt recapture his form or is injured for a length of time he knows he has Alexander who will be fine in the sticks. Alexander as a very experienced head will be beneficial in the dressing room and with the other keepers. If the signing of Lewis is a success and he plays the whole season we have still kept Rogers developing by playing every week elsewhere The signing of Lennox does seem bizarre however given we also have Craddock and Mutch keen for gametime in the u20s Link to comment
tup
Rogers is a good keeper but too slight to command his area fully. He will benefit from another year in the first division. Link to comment

Keeper of the season in that league, picked in the team of the year. That doesnt mean he's any good, more likely though that Falkirk fans are as good at spotting a decent player as some of ours. He'll probably go back to Falkirk for next season then be our backup the following. Link to comment

Tord31
Aye we might even be trying to get a transfer fee for him. After learning our lesson on McManus we may even have made sure to offer an increased contract regardless of whether he was to be number 1 or 2 or undecided Link to comment
