ericblack4boss
What's your prediction for the season ahead. PremiershipChampions- CelticRunners up Aberdeen ( I still worry about our bottle, the post split capitulation s are costly) I expect t be two above and hearts, rangers to take points off each other expect a closer league. Relegation play off. Hamilton ( the smallest budget in the division they are nip and tuck for me for relegation.12th place, Kilmarnock, too many changes a very inexperienced squad their long run in the top division. First manager to go. Hartley, can see him walking or being poached.Canning, a poor start must put his jacket on a shoogly peg.Lee Clark, apparently a fucking nutcase in the dressing room, can't see the players putting up with that. Stated before this will be mcinnes last full season in charge. Betfred league cup winners- Motherwell Runners up- Rangers Scottish cup winners- AberdeenRunners up - hearts. Link to comment

manboobs109
We'll win the Scottish Cup, Killie bottom of the league, a total shocker for the league cup, Hamilton I reckon, probably Celtic for the league. Link to comment
Panda
I think we might do it. All this bollocks about "last year was our best chance." No, last year was a good chance, it wasn't our only chance to do it. Our squad was too threadbare last season. We've now got more bodies in, haven't lost any big players (Danny Ward apart), we are able to have a plan b in games, and have got more physicality in the side. Crucially, players like Jack and Reynolds who were off form last season look like they're getting it back. Jack especially. Reynolds I thought was encouraging against Maribor. I've never been convinced by the Jack-Shinnie midfield partnership after watching them get ripped to shreds at Celtic Park (3-1 game) but they bossed it against Maribor and I actually think Shinnie is the man to go up against Barton and Brown. I wouldn't be against giving them a try. Ash Taylor is a huge weak link at the back. But I think McInnes is just not comfortable changing the back line in European games because they're so crucial, and doesn't want to throw new boys in. Expect O'Connor and Morris to get their chance after Thursday, likely one will start at St Johnstone and the other at Ayr United. A lot relies on Celtic dropping points. I think Rodgers may take time to get them going. He doesn't know his best XI yet, he'll likely sign more players before the end of the transfer window who then have to integrate into the side. It could be a tricky start for them and they have a tough start with Hearts, Aberdeen and Rangers all within their first five games of the season, straddled by European qualifiers. Hearts are clearly a threat but they're not on our level. Are a team you have to beat to win the league, but never are going to win it themselves. Rangers. They've undoubtedly got class in Barton and Kranjcar, and capable players in other positions. But man for man we're better. Again, four massive games against them and I'm not ashamed to say I hope they win all four old firm games as it'll help us if we're winning the Aberdeen/Rangers games. Anyway, that's my tuppence worth. I won't be putting the mortgage on it but I think we've got a better chance this year than we did in the previous two. As for the rest. Inverness in play-offs, Hamilton relegated. Partick Thistle to be shock troops and make top six. Think United might pip Hibs to Championship title. 1 Link to comment

boboisared
The difference may be that the The Rangers were promoted. We were as good as Celtic last season, but many teams still had the fear factor, whilst they believed they were capable of taking points off of us. Next season the Zombies will want to take the full 9 (or 12) points from the Tims which could work in our favour. Link to comment

Chewie37
I predict our games meaning more than the Doncaster fuelled "Old Firm Jackpot", and our improved overall squad to push the league a lot closer, no win prediction, but we have a very good chance Link to comment
HairyPie
My hope is that The Dons win all competitions they enter. I think they have a reasonable chance in them all, the European competition is perhaps out of reach at the moment. If I didn't think the team were competitive it would be very sad. Even during the darkest times I have witnessed as an Aberdeen fan, I still had the belief at the start of each season that they were going to win the league. All part of being a brainwashed fan wearing red-tinted spectacles. 1 Link to comment

S2RDS
I think Hearts will struggle this season. St Johnstone to finish above them. The fact that they were calling for the managers head towards end of the season and after their early Euro exit, it would suggest to me that all is not rosy. I too think Hearts will struggle this season. Bamber
I think our season is still too early to say Lose on Thursday - Strong Challenge for 1st, closer to 1st than 2nd Lose in the Playoffs - 2nd but much closer to third than we would like - losing critical momentum in August and play celtic away after the 2nd leg will hurt any challenge Get to groups - third, and third is crucial to continue our momentum in Europe so we will need a strong second half to the season to ensure it Cups I think we could do well in this year, League cup has become harder I feel in the new format (I don't really like cup competitions that are seeded) again if we get groups I can see the league cup being "parked" and not really taken too seriously especially as its over by the time the groups are completed Think motherwell are for the chop this season, there is a lot of money saving going on and think it might be too much Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
Couldn't care less if we don't score from outside the box if we score even more in itTactically though. Other teams would know all they have to do is prevent us getting into the box (even if it's by giving away freekicks) & they will seriously reduce our chances of scoring. We really have to improve our stats from outside the box. Link to comment

tommo1903
We'll finish 3rd, comfortably. Our players lack bottle to come from behind and our manager doesn't have a plan b. Zero evidence of this otherwise. Link to comment
Donmacca
If we don't win the league we'll be closer to the eventual champions than the last 2 seasons (provided our post split form improves) Scottish cup could be ours but really need to do better than we have in cup comps. I'd love to see Killie get relegated. Shit team, shit fans Link to comment
