I think the issue is it's one of those days where it's basically seen as the acceptable time of year to get pished and make a cunt of it.

I don't know whats more overrated, the Old Firm or Hogmanay. Very surprised though that the police haven't stopped this from happening. They will already be overly stretched with the New Year celebrations and have to deal with the those inbred troglodytes too, will only worsen the situation.

Still surprised the plod are going with this. Us at Tynie with fans driving through a StJ Dundee derby at Perth and Hibs fans coming out to a probably important and therefore tetchy match at Falkirk plus an Old Firm and Hogmany all in a 12 hour shift.

 

On the basis that CFC should win, likely to go 15 clear, another 5-0 humping to put der hun 7th, out of Europe, out of the top 6 (so no 4th derby for Doncaster) and to allow us to watch them whoring themselves to Ashley to avoid administration would be an acceptable outcome.

 

At a push - a massively controversial Hun win out of nowhere (apart from Regan to Thomson's hippers via a handshake ) sparking riots and keeping the league nice and tight with us waiting and equipped to take full advantage would also be acceptable to me. Can't help thinking scenario 1 with a massive pre-arranged Glasgow snore fest is the more likely of the two though.

 

But to save someone else saying it. We need to win at Tynecastle and fuck the rest of them.

The police are there to do a job. It shouldn't matter what day of the week it is. Hogmany or Easter or whatever. Fixtures should be dictated by the SFA. Not the police or TV.
