Tord31
Move on and look to the next one. Reynolds or Considine need to come in at centre half to seperate Taylor/O'Connor. A lot of fans would drop Taylor but McInnes won't. Lewis Logan Taylor Reynolds Considine Jack Shinnie Pawlett McLean Hayes Stockley subs: Alexander, O'Connor, McGinn, Rooney, Storey, Christie, Wrightprediction: 1-1 Link to comment

vanderark14
a big reaction is required here. The only thing that could make up for yesterday and the other weak performances against the glasgow sisters is to consolidate 2nd by hammering everyone till the end of the season and also winning the Scottish cup Link to comment

BWG
Huge game, therefor we'll bottle it. 2-0 St Johnstone. 1 Link to comment
Shinniesta
Tough and physical game as always. They haven't scored against us in 3 games this season but reckon that'll change this week-end. There's definitely niggle between the two sets of players stemming mainly from the LC game this season and stereogate. They will be desperate to put one over us and have plenty to play for Wright would love to finish above Hearts and his beloved huns. 1-1. Link to comment

I think we could do with dropping a few players to give things a kick up the arse but we don't really have that many brilliant options. Christie is good enough to come in to the team but then McLean has been too good to drop imo. Perhaps a change in the formation/system and do something a bit fresh for this one? Drop Rooney, Move McGinn to play up top, Christie on the wing. Counter attack with more speed. Link to comment

One thing I've never understood is why McInnes has never tried McGinn through the middle. In his first season under under the GWT that was where he played and he scored 20 odd goals. Definitely time to give Christie a start he's the type that can unlock the door in a tight game. And it's usually tight against St J. Link to comment

Rebel Red
Confidence is not high for this. They always seem to have a specific way of playing against us that stifles our better players and I don't see this one being any different. Hope we can scrape a draw and move on. Link to comment
Mr John
Definitely need to mix things up, but I kind of wince when I look at our squad beyond the first 11. Alexander back 5 with wing-backs:Logan Ross O'Connor Consi Shinnie 2 centre mids, 2 attacking mids:Jack PawlettWright Christie Stockley up front, chuck Storey on for Pawlett if we need more firepower, he must want to make up for that hashed goal line sitter. Subs: my gran, some cornflakes, a cotton bud and Nancy Spungen. Could do worse. 1 Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
Hayes seems to be carrying that shoulder injury again and save a couple of runs was posted missing. I'd mix up Christie and Pawlett with Hayes and Maclean/Jack (what we should have done when they swapped for Windass yesterday). Mcginn's notgivingonefuckedness looks set to continue. Could cope with Stockley in for Rooney but with Saughnessy and Anderson they obviously want us to go long and narrow and playing Stockley will only encourage us (Ash) even more. Defence? Meh. Once again biggest problem is do we pull Shinnie out of midfield. Link to comment
The Cockney Don
Pawlett usually plays well at their place as far as i can remember, so i'd play him. 1-1 or a 2-1 win. Link to comment

Shinniesta
Time we had a decisive win in this fixture. Thought we were going to do that last season at their place when we were 4-1 up and we ended up winning 4-3 and hanging on at the end. We're a better side than them but I actually think they are a bit tougher mentally. I think they've got stronger mentally since they won the SC a few years ago and losing Stevie May didn't really seem to affect them too much. They certainly seem to do better against the huns than we do for starters their players know what it's like to beat them at the snakepit. And Hearts too think they're unbeaten in 8 games against them now. Like the huns and Hearts they tend to let themselves down more often than they should against the smaller teams. But they always seem to raise their game against the bigger teams. Link to comment
mavv1903
IN Same team I reckon..... Very narrow win or a 1-1 draw Link to comment
Chewie37
DM won't drop anyone unless they're injured as he won't want to make anyone look like a scapegoat for Sunday........ Link to comment
slinkyvagabond
Get Christie in the starting lineup, he should have been involved at the weekend tbh. Reckon O'Connor will miss out but Taylor will be involved. Considine at CH is a slight worry, he is better out wide. Maybe get PP involved as well, we need to freshen it up a bit. One of the reasons we fall away at this stage is the managers over reliance on certain players. Link to comment
Dandyesque
LewisLogan, O'Connor, Considine, ShinnieJack, McLeanHayes, Christie, McGinnStockleySwap Rooney for Stockley and I'm in Playing Stockley will just mean we resort more to long balls- playing into St Johnstone's hands And Stockley's fairly shite too Link to comment
mavv1903
Would like to see Christie start aswell....Rooney dropped and McGinn maybe up top ? no chance in that as he has never done it as far as I can remember. Who knows though, think he will go with same team to let them put that result out there minds and make good again. Link to comment
craegDAMH
Similar team to the one that finished the last game against this lot: Lewis Taylor Considine Logan Jack Hayes Shinnie McLean Christie Stockley McGinn 0-2 Christie and McGinn 1 Link to comment
