V for Vendetta
Actually.. I'd be quite happy to see Deek and Tony add a fresh face to the senior coaching staff, might provide some freshness within the club? Even top managers will chop and change coaches around them from time to time. Not to say Billy would be our man, but just a general point. Link to comment

Dal Riata Don
My memory is not crystal-clear but I do recall being really sad when he left. Was swapped for Robbie Winters[?] and I felt that we entered a really depressing time for the club around then. Link to comment
Chewie37
I was disgusted when we signed him but I don't mind the wee cunt to be honest. Was pissed off when supporters got on his back expecting him to win games on his own. Was even more oissed off when we swapped him AND money for the coin catcher. Imagine my fury when I discovered we were covering his DUTD wages.......absolute buffoonery by the board. Anyway once he Hunned up, I didn't care anymore Link to comment

Byrne Baby Byrne
I am unable to hate Dodds. I loved him too much as a kid. Him, Shearer, Booth, Jess and Glass running riot as we finished 2nd bottom in season 94/95... those were the days 1 Link to comment
northernlights
Billy Dodds was a great player. I remember being surprised when we signed him as St Johnstone are a smaller club who in that era achieved very little. It was a pity we suffered such drastically poor form in his first season with us, he might be revered even more otherwise. I remember seeing him in games at places like Firhill, he would always give everything even when others around him were insipid. At a time when football was often still brutally physical, he never hid and combined with that spirit he had guile and ability. He did particularly well under Roy Aitken's tenure when we won the league cup, scoring two in the semi-final against Rangers. Although we have had strikers that are better technically and of greater general stature, Doddsy was a great pro and often underestimated for his ability. 2 Link to comment

Dal Riata Don
Owen Coyle's got the County job - how far he has fallen. Watched a couple of games [on telly] when he was coach at Huston Dynamo - they were very badly set out. County are fucked. Link to comment

How I remember it at the time was it only really after he scored at Hearts in the "never again" season that people really took to Dodds. The general feeling was he was shite or the local millertime of the day would randomly accuse him of being a jinx (as his previous clubs had tended to struggle and we never had until he arrived).
