Ideally they sack Cooper, he signs a 2 year extension and doesn't get near first team regardless.  Sold for 5-7m odd in summer and we get some % from the profit.

I'd love - just as a statement of intent (and a hopeful punt) - for us to offer him a contract in Jan and try and sign him on the cheap since they've flat out made it clear he's not getting played. We're not going to match what he's on, nowhere near, but throw the hat in the ring. 

He may even feel if no one else is forthcoming be willing to come to us on a short-term contract initially to get games to help him with Scotland. Who knows.

He'd certainly be a first pick for me if he did come back, zero question.
