Aye because the Huns and Tim's don't have a reputation for arsehole behaviour on the day of an old firm.

Got arrested back in 1973-74 can't remember the year .

After a midweek game v Rangers at pittodrie , as with any game I used to walk into town to the graveyard to get the 22 Northfield bus because you wouldn't get on at Mounthooly far too many folk queing at the  bus stop as it was the nearest 22 bus stop to pittodrie . So town centre I went as per usual when I was at the bus stop with my mate there was pandemonium with fans fighting all over the place .

Standing at the bus stop I saw police jumping out of the big van , I heard the  boy in the red jersey fk that's me .

I got took to lodge walk in the van with other's  they put me in a cell then released about 4 hours later and charged with mobbing and rioting .

 

Standing at a bus stop really.

Pleaded not guilty the first time for the re-trial there was a load of other Aberdeen fc thugs up at the same time as me some of them I knew from the football.

I pleaded guilty just to get it over and done with .

Got fined £25 or thereabouts .

Never threw a punch at a football fan or damaged anything at any football stadium ever .

But I have a police record I suppose .

Yes I've broke the law but minor stuff like stealing a bar of chocolate as a 10 year old.

Didn't have you down as a member of the ASC Eddie min.

I have been arrested a few times and up in court a couple, all a long time ago.  Bit of scrapping when younger but nothing serious. Like most I suppose.

That was long before ASC Don . Trouble is I was innocent but getting charged for something I didn't do i should have still said not guilty .

Like you loving is really my game .

I regretted not standing my ground because some years later I went for an interview to joint the police .

But when questioned about convictions I brought that up.
