Any mention of the fee, surely they've not spent 500k on this guy?

Not that it fucking matters, but Fleetwoods top 5 transfers (according to Transfermarkt...) have been:

£1.12m

£1.08m

£351K

£270K

£68K

They called it a "Substantial" fee, but given that the vast majority of their transfers out are for free I'd guess somewhere between £100K-£200K.

Who fucking cares, he's going to win us the league.

Whats that got to do with the price of fish?

It does, if you are an English fish buyer purchasing some rounded haddock on behalf of his company at Peterhead or Fraserburgh fishmarkets.

It adds at least 10% extra to the actual true value of a box of fish. "Ach Joe, he's a guffy bastard, pit anither 10% on top of the price he bought the huddocks for. It'll serve the English cunt richt, comin' up here and stealing oor jobs and hooses, (etc., etc.)".

The archetypal mindset of the majority of the locals up here are still embedded in what happened in the year 1314 and forms the basis of their anti-English discrimination.

'Faith can move mountains, but it can't beat a faster draw'

Anyone name the cowboy film that quote came from?

(Also amsampled in a dance tune.)

I'd be lying if i said i could pick the movie.

That does make me want to do a John Wayne binge though.

El Dorado.

I thought it was never the same when Jesse Birdsall, who played Marcus Tandy, left

I'm going to assume this is bait but I'll bite anyway.

That quote is from the movie, not the TV show. (Unless it was re-used)

Would probably say more based on us signing Roberte's from a non league side for over 100k with 1 year left on contract.

Because we've sold 2 of our best assets.

Fair point but he's still put the money down.

I'll be honest and say I don't understand this signing, he's only 20 and has been playing at a really low level - what's wrong with bringing one of our academy lads in?

Do we even have proper cover if Stewart gets injured?

Disagree.

FFS, last season I remember replying to "How did Kennedy get on?" with "He just made a bolt for the pitch and the steward's werenae quick enough to stop him."

But I've been impressed with him in pre-season - if he keeps up that form he will be challenging for a start, and I'll change my opinion of him.

Not the right time to sell.

He was good v lower league sides agreed. Did little v the tims.

He's done fuck all really since he signed in Jan 2020 and was only signed as he had a decent couple of games which met the McInnes signing criteria of that time.

A big month coming up for him.
