A very bizarre signing.  

Quite how a professional football Head of Recruitment thought this guy was a prospect worth splashing out a six figure fee for & then as a club we give him a 4 year contract, is absolutely mental.

Even the basic stats, 2 goals & zero assists in the last couple of seasons. 
Zero there to make you think there was something to work with. 

Needs offloaded asap. Somehow.

One of the worst players i have ever seen. (not seen him much and hopefully it stays that way) Gave the ball away so many times it was a joke.  Wouldnt make Broomhill Tower first 11 at Champion Street.  Surely he will be off in January.

Yeah, you expect maybe one or two of the free transfers might not make the grade at times - the strange thing about Morris and Richardson is that they're guys we paid a combined fee of maybe £500-750K for. Crazy when you think we could have got another Duk and Miovski for around the same price perhaps.

Aye. 

Whoever the European scouts are have done pretty well.  Same as the loan market in England, we've got a couple of good ones there. 

But the permanent signings from England seem to be markedly inferior in comparison to the European recruits.  Need to raise their sights a bit or stay clear if we're not going to get the required standard within budget.

This is my thought 100%.

If we are in for a player in England and no one else is then it should be absolute alarm bells ringing.

If we are competing with clubs in England for a player then he's straight away going to be looking for upwards of £4k/week (if not worse) which means there is better value to go elsewhere e.g. Budapest.

I don’t think Richardson will cut it with us, I’m not totally writing him off just yet, Morris however, a different level of mediocrity

I was flabbergasted when we gave him a 4 year contract, considering the level he'd been playing at previously. Nothing about it made sense.

Almost like a software program flagged him.

Age/Left footed/Speed &% of crosses delivered, would all be good stats for him. 

Actual in-game effectiveness, not so.

Goodwin et al must have thought it would have been easy to coach something into his game to help him blossom.  

Cutting inside perhaps? 

I hope he goes out on loan soon, then we'll get a good measure of his attitude.

He wasn’t a starting first team regular at Fleetwood.

Not at all convinced that Cove....or any team in the Championship.....would take him. He's definitely not good enough for the teams at the top and at the bottom end you want proven players with the correct attitude who are "up for the fight". His attitude might be fine but how can anyone tell given he's getting so little playing time?

Wherever he goes, he needs to playing (actually starting matches). So if that's in SFL1/2 or even the national league in England, then so be it
