That's the very very top of middle class, possibly even the upper class imo. 

A doctor, qualified engineer, head master etc is middle class. We have a strange fascination (in this country) where we think there are lots of people who earn way more than us, and that we are all working class. 

Our parents, or grand parents maybe were but if you went to uni and/or have a professional job you aren't working class despite your origins and best wishes.
